Sonic had soon fell asleep, the two Demi-gods did nothing but talk and control the boat towards their destination, taking turns each.
"So, you do like Sonic?" Knuckles wiggles his eye brows. Amy blushed and nodded, "yes but- I don't think he feels the same way..." Amy mumbles, looked down at the sea. "Oh? Well you'll never know until you ask." Knuckles hit his best friends arm playfully as Amy chuckled, "yeah, you know what- I will! I just hope he doesn't reject me.." Amy whispered the last part.
"I'll ask him when he wakes up- I'm not gonna wake him up." Amy said, resting her face on her fist.
"Well... if he doesn't share the same feelings then, we'll see what happens next... if he does share the same feelings though then I guess you two are together." Knuckles shrugged.
"Look, you're my best mate Amy, if he makes you happy go for it, I'll support you the whole entire way. If he makes you upset I'll pound him in the face, I'm sorry but i can't pound his face for rejecting you-" Knuckles was cut off when Amy hugged him.
"I get it Knuckles, thank you." She whispered, Knuckles hugged back, "good, just be prepared Amy. Fear the worst but also hope for you the best." Knuckles smiled sweetly. Amy nodded.
"Of course." She promised.
