Chapter 9-Why me..?

I felt my face go red.
"Of course n-not jack why would i eavesdrop on you..?" I stammered
"I don't know, you tell me. why were you?" Jack asked
oh gosh he didn't sound happy. It's not my fault. if i hear my boyfriend laughing with another girl obviously i'm gonna be curious. I rolled my eyes
"Who is this girl your with?" I snapped
"Y/N don't play dumb. you know who Nina is." Jack Argued he was starting to get on my nerves a little bit. i have absolutely no idea who this Nina girl is.
"Jack, I have no idea who Nina is." I said in a irritable tone
"Yeah, you do. she literally told me that she's talked to you a couple times before." Jack noted
"Well, sorry Jack but she's lying to you." I said with my hands on my hips
"Y/N what is your deal? Nina wouldn't lie about talking to you that's such a stupid thing to lie about. knock it off now and go back to your room please i'll be there later." Jack said rolling his eyes. At this point I was so angry I just wanted to pounce at the both of them and attack the both of them.I rolled my eyes and ran out of his room and Masky followed behind me
"Hey are you and Jack okay?" He asked with worry in his eyes
"Yeah we should be fine." I lied
I don't know what's gonna happen he really pissed me off just now. I have never said a word to Nina before in the couple months i've been living here.
"We'll just let me know if you ever need anyone to talk to" He smiled a warm smile
"Thanks." I replied
I walked away and down the hall towards my room I opened the door and sat down on my bed. Maybe I should invite someone to hang out with me while I wait for Jack. But who?

~An hour later~
Just as i'm about to fall asleep Jack opens the door. I quickly shut my eyes and pretend to be sleeping.
"Hey Y/N are you awake?"
Jack asked quietly touching my arm of course I ignored him i'm really upset about earlier. He sighed
"I guess i'm gonna go back to my room."
good i thought to myself i'm so jealous of that Nina girl. maybe I should tell her to back off. my thoughts kept me up all night and eventually I had fallen asleep around 3:30am.

~In the morning~
I wake up to the sound of pots and pans banging and ringing in my ear I quickly sat up and yell
"TOBY, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?"
"Uhm, good morning!" sally exclaimed
"Why, why the pots and pans? I hardly slept last night." I moaned and plopped back down on my bed
"Y/N we have to get ready for the h-huge winter barbecue!" sally yelled while doing this little dance she always does flinging her arms around
"What? i've never even heard of that." I questioned
"Nobody told you? wow. well who cares get ready, dress warm, and the barbecue s-starts around 6 tonight." sally smiled and did her little dance while exiting my room without shutting the door I jump up out of my bed and shut my door. Wait, did jack ever come in last night? probably not. he was probably up let snuggling with Nina and telling her all about his stupid kidney obsession. they aren't even that good. I rolled my eyes. I walked into my bathroom and looked in the mirror man I look like shit. I'll just hop in the shower. I grab a towel put it over the shower curtain, then undress myself. once i'm done I step in and let the steamy warmth of the water hit my skin. as i'm washing the last bit of conditioner out of my hair I think to myself that maybe I should say something to Nina. After i was done, I changed into some warm clothes and went downstairs to the gaming room. Ben, Jeff, and LuLu were in there.
"Hey guys! have you seen jack?" I asked them all
"uhmm I haven't, sorry Y/N" Lulu assured
"I think they went on a mission early this morning." Ben added
"Oh really..? what time?" I snarled
"Uhhhh... like 6? I think. Why?" Ben asked as he put his controller down
"Nothing." I snapped and stormed out of the room. what the hell. six!? they left at six?? it's already 10:30am. it's been a couple hours. Ben runs after me
"Hey! y/n wanna hang out for a bit?" Ben suggested
"no." I reply and walk away from him. Was that rude? oh well i'm really irritated right now where is everyone? i haven't seen toby or jack in awhile or even jorden. As I walk back out to the living room i see jack, nina, jorden, and toby walk in all together. I started walking towards them until nina pulled jack in for a kiss. my heart sank. oh my god nina is kissing jack. I feel the panic swell up in my chest
"j-jack y- you" i tried saying. i couldn't even talk.
"y/n it's not what you think" jack said as he pushed nina away from him
"t-toby you too? you know how i felt about jack and nina you went with them.." I said while starting to walk up the stairs jack tries to touch my hand but i push him away
"s-sirus i-" toby started
"no. jack we're done. i never wanna see you guys ever again." i said as i felt the tears drop down my cheek i saw that jeff, lulu, ben, and hoodie were all watching what had happened. I ran upstairs. I slipped and feel on the shiny wooden floor right in front of masky's door. he had heard the noise from outside and opened his door. "Y/N? are you okay?" masky said as he helped me up
"i broke up with jack"
