Fright Night

Chapter 4

After many minutes of driving, J.B. stopped the vehicle. "We're here!" she announced as she got out of the drivers seat. Everyone got out of the vehicle with Othernames being the last one to leave after J.B. herself. He turned around to see what vehicle they drove in. His eyes widen in awe at what he saw. Turns out it was a school bus that gad a few "adjustments." There was what looked like to be a laser in the top front of the bus and a radar signal machine the top near the back of the bus. There were two small laser looking things in the front of the bus. J.B. noticed his expression and smiled. "Impressive isn't it?" she asked walking up next to him. "Yees!" he hissed in excitement. "Well, maybe when all of this is over I can show some stuff it can do." she said proudly. Othernames looked at her in excitement before hearing an "Ahem!" Both of them looked to see Douglas scowling at them "I know you two like each other but we have a mission." he reminded them.

"Oh of course!" J.B. exclaimed returning to the group. "Now everyone take one of these." she said holding what looked like phones. Everyone who weren't part of the Ghost hunters took the phones. Jonathan and and a few others looked at it in confusion. "How are phones gonna help us?" he asked looking up at scientist. "Press the small button under the screen." she instructed. Everyone did so and multi colored electric beams came out of the phones and were sparking the ground. They stopped and the beams disappeared. "Woah! Nice!" Aaron said in amazement. "Normally we'd use these to trap ghost but I modified it to just shock spirits. But it still captures ghost." J.B. explained. "Then why don't they have one?" Lance asked pointing to the ghost hunters. "We have our own." Jack said as he and friends pulled out their own phone like devices.

"Well while it's nice to have some weapons that can shock our enemies, I still prefer using my natural weaponry." Jonathan said unsheathing his claws in delight. "Now let's see what we're dealing with." he said turning around to see the first source. In front of them was a tall old building that was crumbling in some places. The houses around looked abandoned. Ash ketchum felt a familiar feeling in this place. "hey what's the name of this place?" he asked looking over at J.B. She typed something on a tablet. "It's called Lavender town." she said looking up at him. "I knew it!" Ash yelled returning the tower with a glare on his face. "You know this place?" Iris asked in surprise. "I came to this place during my travels in Kanto along with Misty and Brock. And let's just say we had an encounter with ghosts." he explained.

"And I'm guessing it wasn't a pleasant experience?" asked Firewolf. Ash gave him a look that said "No it was not!", answering his question. "The strongest source is on the top floor." J.B. said walking to the front of the group. "Great! All we need to do is walk up all the floors and destroy the source." Karl said nonchalantly as walked toward the entrance. "Woah there buddy!" Parker said walking up to stop him. "There can still be possessed creatures, Spirits, or ghosts in there!" she told him pointing to the entrance. She turned her back and said "Stay close to us and don't wander off." With that, they entered. There were only graves when they entered the room. Ash felt dread build up as he looked at all the tombstones. "Why are there graves here?" asked Len as he approached one the graves. "Because Pokemon are buried here." Ash spoke.

The became a little colder and quieter after he said that. "They.. they bury pokemon here?" Iris asked her voice a little shaken. "Dead Pokemon" Ash clarified his voice a little icy. "Oh Lovely" hissed Tommy Boy the Shiny Flygon, trying to hide his delight. "Lavender Tow is known for this." Ash snarled as he looked as he crossed his arms. "So is their music." Mikey murmured under his breath. Lewis floated by him and looked around. He couldn't feel any spirit or ghostly presence other than himself, Spencer, and Douglas. "We must move on." he said turning to the others. "I agree. I don't see any ghosts, spirits, or possessed beings. Not even my device." Vivi agreed as she looked around the room. "The stairs are at the end of the room." Ash said walking ahead. Everyone walked to the stairs and went up the second floor.
