After we recovered from that small incident, we continued on our journey to the uppermoon. One the way there we came across the worst sight. A male demon had cornered two little kids and was about to attack them. I was filled with sudden rage and fury beyond anything else. "So,", I hissed, startling Rengoku, Shinazugawa, and the demon with the amount of hatred dripping in my voice, "You are one of those disgusting demons that think attacking poorYou are one of those lowly, filthy demons that harm little, innocent, harmless kids. I don't think that you deserve a slow death." I lifted my head and there was no trace of emotion on my face. My eyes had turned as black as the abyss and a black hole of hate. Swiftly cutting my arm and letting the blood dripped down my sword, I lept in front of the demon and said, "Forest Breathing; Vine style; Bloodred Thorns." The vines coming out of my sword wrapped around the demon in a flash, pinning him in place. Then I stabbed my blood-covered sword into his heart. Suddenly, long blood-red thorns shot out of the place where I had stabbed, stabbing everywhere on the demon. I removed my sword out of his body as he began to slowly disintegrate.
I took a deep breath to calm myself down. Then I turned to the little kids with a soft smile on my face. "Are you two alright?", I asked gently. "Yes. I'm Amara and this is my brother Kusho." "Alright Amara and Kusho, are your parents still around?", I said. Right on cue, I heard voices calling for their kids. "You two better get going now. Be more careful, okay.", I said as I ushered them towards their parents. Amara and Kusho nodded, and with that, we set off once more.
"Never thought you had that in you.", Sanemi said awkwardly, interrupting the silence. "Well, I do have 'dark side'." I joked, "But mainly when little kids are being mistreated." We talked a little more until we met the Uppermoon. It was Uppermoon three and it was about to kill Tanjiro. Rengoku jumped in front of it first and saved Tanjiro. There were hundreds of other demons in the area so Shinazugawa went to take care of that. I got Tanjiro to safety and helped the other demon slayers. When I got back, however, that demon was about to kill Rengoku. In a flash, I was there and managed to chop off the demon's fist. "I got this Rengoku-san. You've exhausted him enough." I turned and faced the demon.
