Marry me

Jay Halstead takes Hailey out on a date for Valentine's Day and he has a surprise for her and Hailey has a secret.

Jay walks up to Hailey as she logs out of the computer for the night, "Hey, want to go out on a date?" Hailey stands up from chair, "um yes, I'll love to." Jay puts on jacket, "Great, I'll see you outside."

Jay walks downstairs as Kim walks up, "Are you and Jay dating?" Hailey nods her head, "Yes, but don't tell Voight please." Kim hugged Hailey, "Don't worry, that'll be our secret"

Hailey gets in the car then closes the door, "So where to, Jay?" Jay started the car, "Fancy restaurant" Hailey put on the seatbelt, "Oh, that sounds romantic."

Meanwhile, Jay and Hailey entered the restaurant, "Table for two please." Waitress nodded, "Please wait for a few minutes and I'll let you know when the table is ready."

Few minutes later, Hailey sat down at the table, "This is better than sitting on the couch and watching Netflix." Jay sat down at the table, "Yes, I wanted to take you out on a date for Valentine's day and after we eat, we're going to the lake house, I have a surprise for you." "Oh, what is it?" Hailey picks up the menu. "Can't say," Jay smiled.

Meanwhile

Hailey and Jay walked up to the bridge behind the lake house where the lights are hanging on the bridge, "This is beautiful, Jay. So, do we just stare at the lake or.." Hailey turns around to see Jay with engagement ring out, "Jay.."

Jay holds Hailey's hand, "When I first met you, I was still with Erin and I didn't have feelings for you. After she left, you helped me to get through, and go to therapy. You helped me handle PTSD." Hailey smiled, "Yes I did, you had a hard time after Erin left." "If it wasn't for you then I would still be drinking a lot and I would never have gone to therapy." Hailey wiped tears off, "Yes and i thought i lost you twice when you got shot. You make me feel safe and protected."

Jay smiled then sat on one knee "Hailey, I love you and will you marry me?" Hailey smiled, "Yes, I love you too and I'll marry you." Jay puts the engagement ring on Hailey's finger then hugs Hailey, "Should we tell Voight?" "Tomorrow?" "Yes, tomorrow."

Hailey walks away as she throws up. "You okay, Hailey?" Jay asked. Hailey nodded, "Yes. I was going to wait but I'll tell you now. I'm pregnant." Jay chuckled then hugged Hailey, "We're having a baby." "We're having a baby," Hailey hugged back.
