Today everyone arrives, I went with Ace, to have the house ready for them. And mom ask if we could go grocery shopping.

As I was grabbing cereal, I heard a familiar voice, one I haven't heard in a while.

"My, my, you may have grown, but I recognize that face anywhere."

I turned to see, Christina. I smiled like crazy and hugged her. "I've missed you, it's been a while."

"Yes it has, but I'm back and will go back to Hope, next week." She smiled, "and who is this handsome man."

"This is my boyfriend, Ace Walker."

They shook hands.

"She works at Hope, she used to give me lots of cupcakes and chocolate." I giggled.

"Well, you were the cutest most adorable toddler ever." She pinched my cheeks. "How's your mom?"

"Great, they're coming later, you should join us, we're having a barbecue." I said.

"I will, haven't been there in a long time. See you later kids." With that said, she left.

"She's sweet." Ace mentioned.

"Yeah she is. She made a lot of exceptions for me. I'm grateful that she let me stay in Hope." I smiled as he did too.

We paid for the groceries and then went to my house and loaded them in the shelves and fridge.

"All done."

"How about, I have you for dessert right now." He kissed my neck.

"How about, no."

I jumped to see my dad with everyone. "Dad!"

"We decided to surprise you, but we got the surprise." He rolled his eyes.

"In our defense, you guys were supposed to arrive at 5pm, not 2pm." I replied.

"Eh, potato potahto." Dad shrugged. I shook my head. "Alright, let's talk about the sleeping arrangements."

Is he nuts, I already have the best roommate.

"Chiara and Selena in one room." He added.

"Sorry dad, I'm sleeping in, Ace's house." I said as I wrapped my arms around Ace's waist.

My dad's eye started to twitch. He needs to stop being so overprotective.

"Not even for one-week?" He sighed.

"Nope."

He groaned. "Fine, I need a drink right now." He went to the mini bar.

"He doesn't even drink." I rolled my eyes.

"Seems like a good day to start." He yelled. We all laughed.

...........

Later that day, dad and the others were making barbecue. We were on the couch on the yard talking about everything.

"Hello, I heard Davina was here." Christina entered and mom ran to her and hugged her.

"You're back, I'm.so happy to see you." Mom said as they walked towards us.

"Well, I missed my country. Six months away was enough." She added.

"Well, glad to have you back." Mom smiled.

"Incoming." Grandpa Mike yelled and then a chicken landed on Ace's head.

We laughed, Ace looks like he wants to murder my family. They're still getting used to me dating him.

I went over there and pulled him into a kiss. That'll teach my family to not mess with him.

"Was this kiss to fire up your family?" He whispered against my lips.

"Yes, and because I wanted to kiss you too." I whispered back.

"Enough kissing." Dad glared at us. We chuckled.

"Then stop throwing stuff at Ace." I added.

"This means we're warming up to the idea of you two together." Grandpa Luca added.

"Don't be annoying twits. Let them kiss and make love while they're young and have energy." Grandma Skylar chimed in.

"Seriously mom?" Mom said as grandma shrugged.

I love grandma. Once the food was ready, we all sat down and enjoyed a nice and somewhat peaceful dinner. My family bombarded Ace, with questions and he answered them.

"Enough with the 100 questions. Get to know him well this week and you'll love him." I said before eating a piece of meat.

"All you need to know, is that I love, Chiara, and I will always protect her, until my last breath." He kissed my hand, I blushed.

"Aww." My grandmas, aunts and mom said.

"Are you going to marry our sister?" Giorgio asked him.

"When the time is right, I'll ask her her be with me forever."

"Don't make her cry, or one day, you might wake up with itching powder all over your body and in an especial place too." Luke smirked.

I shook my head at these two. "He treats me well, that's all you need to know."

"First things first, she needs to graduate both high school and college, then you can get married." Dad said.

"Mom, was dad like this when you guys were teens?" I asked.

"Yes, he was and still is intense. He didn't want to marry me until I graduated and he was also jealous, extremely, he got jealous over a gay classmate I had back in college."

"Were you lacking trust there, buddy?" Ace, said and my dad looked like he was about to murder him.

"Ace, I'm about to kill you." My dad said with so much anger.

Ace, just chuckled. "Is that so?"

"So much better than the channels at the hospital." Mason said as he ate his chicken.

"Agreed." Selena added.

"I love this family." Leo said and Mary agreed with him.

"Ohh, girls fight!" Aunt Sarah added.

"Now this is what I call entertainment." Christina mentioned as she ate her steak.

Boom!

We turned to see Mark. He was holding two guns and one them was pointing at my brothers and the other one at Aunt Sarah.

"Now who will go first? You, you." Then he stopped And pointed the guns at my brothers. "You two."

Boom!

"Noooo!"
