The Clone Wars
The Republic and the Mandalorians were bitter enemies. They had already fought two Clone Wars and were fighting a third to wipe each other out once and for all. After the second war, the Triumvirate, the leaders of the Republic, authorized the making of an elite clone army called the Stormtroopers. They were larger in numbers and better fighters than the small Republic Army.
The Mandalorians were mounting an assault on the planet Naboo, which was essential as a trade route to the survival of the Republic. The Republic sent a force to Naboo to save it, but if they cannot, to rescue its young queen, Padme Nabire...
