Road Trip Part 5

"We're here, we're here, we're here!" You exclaimed, pressing your nose to the window, pushing Q aside. 

You immediately got off running to get to the entrance of the fair. You jumped up and down, excitedly until your four best friends came. 

They walked slowly and talked to each other. 

"Would you all walk a little faster?" you asked, bouncing your foot up and down against the dirt floor, arms crossed. 

"Relax," Q started. "You can wait a few seconds."

"I can't, and I won't," you replied, laughing. 

And you ran into the fair, not waiting for them at this point. It has been a while since you had been to the fair, this feeling was just incredible. 

After going on multiple rides throughout the day, you were running to the next one until you stopped. 

It was the Ferris Wheel. "How about we skip this one?" you ask, stepping back a little. 

"Woah, what happened to the hyper-energetic five-year-old we just met recently?" Sal asked.

You roll your eyes, "This five-year-old may not really like Ferris Wheels too much!"

"Oh come on Y/N, we're going on too!" Murr exclaimed, trying to convince you. 

You sighed, "Fine, only because you're coming too."

Again, you sat next to Q. Please don't make a fool of yourself, please don't make a fool of yourself... You started thinking.

"Hey Q," you said, as the wheel started rotating. 

"Yeah?" he asked, looking at you finally. 

This was it, this was it, you were gonna tell him!

You looked at Q and opened your mouth. 

Wait- once you tell him this there's no going back, what if you wait just a bit longer, it wouldn't hurt would it. 

You looked at Q again who was waiting for you to continue talking. 

"What were you going to tell me?" Q asked. 

"Uh, nothing," you continued. 

"You sure?" Q asked, worried. 

"Yeah," you replied, sighing. 

Why couldn't you tell him? Were you afraid that he might reject you? Oh, wait, that might be it.
