Chapter 2
3x15
While Emma, Charming, Hook, and Belle searched for more clues to figure out who the Wicked Witch is, Regina made her way to the old farm house.

Regina's heals kicked the cobble stones in the drive way. The wind blew her hair in the wind. She heard a sound come from behind her. She swiftly turned around. "Show yourself you winged freak" she demanded.

Then a man stepped out from behind the trees and shot an arrow at Regina. Thankfully she was agile enough to grab the arrow with her hands before it could puncture her flesh. She was annoyed and did not hide it. She grit her teeth and turned to face the man.

"Apologies ma lady. I thought you were the Wicked Witch." The man apologized while walking over to Regina.

"And I thought you were a flying monkey." she replied.

The man shook his head laughing at the thought. "I do hope my mistake hasn't cost me my head, your majesty?" he asked.

"So you know who I am?" Regina questioned with a proud stature.

"Your reputation in the Enchanted Forest proceeds you." He replied. He was
now two feet away from her.

"I didn't catch your name." Regina said.

"Robin of Locksley at your service." He replied reaching his hand out to retrieve his arrow.

"A thief." Regina said with a smirk of disgust on her face.

He took his arrow back and reloaded his bow. "Well since we're tossing labels around, aren't you technically known as the Evil Queen?" He questioned but already knew the answer.

Regina's smirk disappeared from her face. She glared at him with disgust. "I'd prefer Regina. You think you can bring down the Wicked Witch with sticks?" Regina asked while pointing at Robin's arrows, trying not to laugh.

"I'm certainly going to try." He replied.

"Well I'm afraid we're too late. She's long gone." Regina informed him.

"Well perhaps she left a trail." Robin said.

"I was hoping the same thing." Regina replied in disbelief. She never thought a queen and a commoner could think a like. Let alone a thief.

"Well then you've got a good partner" he replied looking deep into Regina's eyes.
Regina looked into his eyes with confusion. She looked away and started to walk past him. "I don't remember asking for one." She didn't look back at him when she spoke.
He turned and replied "You didn't."

Regina turned around to look at him. "Just don't get in my way." She demanded.
"I wouldn't dream of it." He replied smiling at the ground.

Regina looked hard at Robin. She could swear she had seen him before. "Have we met before?" She asked.

"I doubt I'd ever forget meeting you" he assured her. "Unless it was during that pesky year that no one seems to recall. All a more reason to find this witch. Perhaps she can give us some incite on our lost memories" Robin walked past Regina toward the farm house.

Regina continued to look at Robin. She couldn't get the thought of already meeting the man out of her head. She tucked the thought in the back of her mind and walked with him to the house.

"Nothing useful here." Regina complained while she shook a dust filled mason jar, "Unfortunately."

"You mean none of these contain magical properties?" Robin asked as he pointed to the shelves of jars and cups.

"Well a good witch covers her tracks but a better one can uncover them. We'll find it. Just be patient." Regina replied. She looked through the shelves while Robin sat down on a stool by what seemed like an old kitchen counter.

As Regina bent over looking at the bottom shelf, Robin looked up trying not to stare. "You know I've heard many stories of the great and terrible Evil Queen but from this angle the evil menacer seems to be a little bit of an overstatement. Bold and audacious perhaps but not evil." Robin declared.

Regina turned around after his statement. She leaned against the shelf. "The name served me well. Fear is quite an effective tool." She said and smiled.

Robin stood up from sitting on the stool and stepped towards Regina. They were inches apart and they stared into each other's eyes but Robin reached behind Regina and grabbed a bottle of whiskey. "What about this? Is this magic?" He asked.

Regina looked down from Robin's eyes and down at the bottle. "Not exactly but it is a liquid that can conjure courage, give strength or even act as a love potion of sorts." She smiled and laughed after she explained and said "its called whiskey and no it's not magical, especially the next day."

Robin looked back up at Regina. "Oh" He reached behind regina again and grabbed two glass cups.

"You wanna have a drink. Now?" Regina questioned.

Robin turned around and walked back over to the counter. "Well during the last few days we've survived a curse, broken up an entirely new realm, and forgotten a year of our lives." Robin rolled up his sleeves and poured the two of them a drink. I believe we have earned it. Don't you?" Robin asked.

Regina smiled. Robin offered her a drink. She was about to accept it but then she saw Robin's tattoo.

Immediately Regina had flash backs to many years ago when she was friends with Tinkerbell.
"You need love." Tink said.

"Your going to help me find another soul mate?" Regina asked in disbelief.
The image of the bar flashed through her mind.

"There he is. The guy with the lion tattoo." Think said pointing through the window.
Regina stared at the tattoo. She never thought she could get a second chance like this. It was too overwhelming.

"Is something wrong?" Robin asked. He noticed her staring at his arm and didn't seem to take the drink.

Regina wanted to speak but couldn't. She walked around Robin and out the door.
"Regina?" Robin yelled but he was too late. Regina was already out the door.

~A few hours later~
Regina walked toward Robin's camp. She could see him playing with a little boy. He held his arms out for the boy to run to. He lifted the boy into the air above Robin's head. The boy laughed and smiled at Robin.

Regina stopped and did not go to Robin. She should have known he would have had a family by now.

She left.
