Chapter 5

~Enchanted Forest~
Regina, Robin, Snow, Belle, and Granny sat around the round table contemplating their next move. Snow sat there holding her 8 month pregnant belly.Charming was pacing back and forth in front of the stained glass window waiting for some form of hope. "Grumpy!" He called "Tell me you found something." He said as he leaned his fists against the table.
Grumpy walked in with his report. "I've been to Blue, Tink and all the other fairies. They've been scouring the forest for enchanted items to destroy her but they got ziltch. They say she's just too powerful."
"It's happening again. I'm about to give birth and an evil sorcerous is threatening the life of my child." Snow said concerned.
"To be fair, the first time I was threatening you. Everyone else just became collateral damage." Regina admitted.
"Remind me again, why we forgive her?" Grumpy asked sarcastically.
"Because I'm helping." Regina said as she stared at the plump, scruffy, dwarf. Robin smiled to himself. "Frustrating as it is for me to remember, Snow, you had a head start on me last time. How?"
"We were warned.' Charming started.
"By Rumplestiltskin." Snow finished.
"Well maybe he can warn you again." Regina thought out loud.
"Wait! You want to sneak into Rumplestiltskin's castle, where he's being held captive by the wicked witch? Names Grumpy not stupid." Grumpy reminded them.
Charming looked down at the table in frustration. He knew it was a bad plan. They all did.
"You're right it is stupid but for our child..." Snow started to say.
"We will do whatever it takes.' Charming finished. He reached over and placed his hand on Snow's arm to reassure her.
"Heartwarming. He's trapped in his own castle. Belle, you were prisoner there." Regina remarked and looked over to the brunette.
"Yes, but breaking in? I have no idea how." Belle admitted.
"Luckily I do." Robin chimed in. "I broke in there once before."
Regina started to chuckle "Why are we even listening to him? He's a thief. Which means he is not to be trusted. What are you even still doing here?" Regina asked.
"What I'm doing here is saving your ass." Robin barked. Regina glared back at him but kept her mouth shut so he could continue. "The castle has traps and deadly ones."
"Not more deadly than my magic" Regina remarked.
"They are if you don't see them coming.' He argued.
"Well maybe I'm ok with taking my chances." Regina assured him.
"You're right. You may be but I'm not. He's coming" Snow said breaking the argument. Regina looked at Snow like she had slapped across the face. She slumped back into her seat. Robin looked back at Regina with a beaming smile. Regina just angrily sighed.
~Storybrooke~
Regina and Robin were in the back hallway of Granny's inn. They were slowly making their way to the door in between each soft, tender, kiss.Regina pulled apart and looked deeply into Robins's ocean blue eyes and asked "What do you see in me?"
"I see the same thing you see in me; a second chance. And you're quite a good kisser." He responded. Regina smiled at his last remark. Her red lip stick made her smile seem so much brighter.
