Finally, Vanessa and Roxy left the haunting house, as the rest of the women were waiting for them on the outside. While Vanessa didn't seem to be scared at all, Roxy was actually shaking against the woman. Her face was hiding in the curve of Vanessa's neck while the older was embracing her trying to calm her down. Even if the younger loved the Halloween, just like Destiny had said, she was very very easy to spook and her friends well knew how she would stay after horror movies. Sometimes she couldn't even sleep well and she would wake up after having a nightmare and call one of the four crying. It was Roxy's little side.
"It's over now." Vanessa repeated again, very nicely and patiently.
"That was so fun! Let's go again." Destiny said excitedly.
"Destiny." Megan scolded her and pointed to Roxy.
"Oh angel." Alissa got closer and caressed her back.
Although, the sudden new touch did frighten the girl who jumped and got closer to Vanessa trying not to make a scene and start crying right there.
The ghost hugged her more and actually picked her up. "It's okay Roxy." She caressed her hair gently. "No bad monsters will come for you, I'll protect you."
Destiny made a disgusted face and pretended to throw up, receiving a slap from Hope.
"They are happy, let them be." She scolded, whispering yelling.
"They barely know each other." Megan whispered back and buffed.
"Wanna go home." Roxy whimpered and hugged her more.
"None of us can go home yet, angel, but if you want Vanessa can take care of you." Alissa whispered softly and winked at the ghost.
Vanessa smiled at Alissa and kissed Roxy's head. "I can take care of you." She assured. "We can go get some candy."
"I like candy..." The younger whispered shyly and nodded a little.
"Very well then, Vanessa will take you home and on your way there you will buy some candy."
"But first." Hope got closer. "Take this, every morning, sunrise, without missing." She gave Vanessa a sack with white small balls.
"I will." She nodded and put the sack away.
"It just barely hit midnight though." Destiny pouted.
"We can stay and party a little more." Megan assured her.
"Better because I wanna party and get wasted!" She cheered.
"Yes! Let's go!" The older one said excitedly.
"Say goodbye to your friends Roxy." Vanessa encouraged, caressing her hair and back gently.
"Bye girls." Roxy waved before hugging Vanessa again.
"Now what do you say we go get your favorite candy in that shop you really like here at the fair?" She suggested and started walking towards it. "That expensive shop? Hope let me borrow some money."
"Yes please." The one being carried mumbled low and sighed against her neck. "You should put me down though...."
"Do you want me to put you down?"
"No but... Yes. I don't know."
Vanessa stopped and just kept hugging her. "Do you enjoy being comfortable in my arms?"
"I do." She nodded shyly.
"Then let me carry you." She whispered in her ear. "And take care of you."
