Though, time slowly passed, and eventually Roxy  had to go get ready for her set up date with a random dude. Vanessa wasn't happy about it, but she couldn't demand her crush to not go. And it was during that time that the door of Roxy's apartment rang. Vanessa jumped on her spot, still glued to the television, and stood up. She got scared, and slowly walked close to the door, having no idea what she should do.

"Roxy!" She called loudly very concerned.

"What?!" The answer came back on a loud scream

"The door! Loud sound!"

"I'm coming." Roxy chuckled and left her room with only a towel around her body. "You know you could just open it." She walked closer to Vanessa, passing her hand on the wet hair. The woman didn't reply as she was staring at the younger with her mouth slightly opened. "What...?" She looked at herself.

"Nothing." She swallowed. "Sorry I got distracted, apologies." She looked at the door.

"Let me show you how the door works." She held her hand and pushed her closer.

"Thank you." She said politely and smiled. "I can't believe you are getting all ready for a boy." She grumbled.

"It's your own fault." She struggled and pointed to the little screen showing Alissa waiting. "This camera shows you who is outside, and if you know the person you click on this key." She made Vanessa's finger click on the key and the door opened, allowing Alissa to enter the building. "See, it's easy."

"Yes but how is it my fault that you are getting ready for a boy?" She frowned.

"You disappeared yesterday, letting him ask me out. If you didn't, I would have said no." She stated like it was obvious.

Vanessa opened and closed her mouth. "A girl can't go to the bathroom now?"

"For half an hour or more? That's a long time." She pointed out and looked at the door. "Open it."

The woman looked at the door and put her hand on the handler. She pulled it, but it didn't work. However she pulled the little thing on the side and there was a click. Excited, she pulled again and the door was now opened.

"I did it!!!"

Roxy chuckled a little and hugged her by the waist kissing her cheek. "You did it."

"But yes I spent half an hour on the bathroom because sometimes people need it." She finished and crossed her arms pretending to be upset.

"You love me."

"Look Alissa coming." She changed the topic.

The shorter looked at the door and Alissa showed up smiling.

"Hello ladies." The vampire greeted and closed the door.

"Alissa!" Roxy let Vanessa go and hugged her.

"Hi angel." She hugged the younger back and kissed her forehead. "Hey V."

"Alissa, finally. Have you seen the television?? It's amazing! So many colors and and shapes and and people and dogs and cats and everything!" She immediately started talking excitedly.

"You showed her tv?" The latina looked down. "Tell me you didn't show her social media yet."

"Oh, no, not yet."Roxy chuckled. "It's cute."

"Come on V, you have much to learn." Alissa let Roxy go and walked to the raven woman.

"Social what?" The woman frowned. "What's that?"

"It's like television, but you can talk to people." The vampire hold her hand and pushed her to the living room. "Have fun angel."

"I'm still going to get dressed." The younger rolled her eyes playful and went back to her room
