The prison was not a part of the palace, rather it was located behind the palace, further deep into the garden where it met with the forest boundaries. The prison was nothing but a cell of rusted metal.

Being accused of something she had not done felt illegal to Y/n. Wasn't she the one to help them all this while ? She could have easily ignored all of these people and continued to find her way out of this place but it was her decision to help them and after all this she was the one to be accused. At this point, she was the least bothered about the year 1772, she was ready to beat the hell out of these people and curse at them. But it would be wrong; she had to find a way to meet Jungwon again-

"Get in" one of the guards commanded in a harsh voice and pushed the tied girl into the cell and locked it and Y/n stumbled and fell and then managed to sit up and yelled, "you better behave yourself!"

But the guards were the least bothered about her warnings but instead they laughed it off.

It was finally after a lot of pulls and triggers and pain that Y/n managed to get rid of the rope which tied her and once her hands were set free she clutched the rods of the prison hard and shook them in an attempt to break but they were too strong for her. She screamed for at least an hour or so for that, cursing at them and their origin until her throat felt dry and she paused to take a deep breath. Her face looked dry and all the colour that was once there was gone.

She wanted to see Jungwon's face. She was worried about him and now that she knew Mark could be cruel enough to finish anyone within a night, she was even more worried.

She curled herself like a ball and pulled her knees closer and dug her head into the crook and closed her eyes. She needed rest.

The sky was overcast with dark clouds and although it was just the morning, the sun was hardly visible. The gloom was furthermore over the house of Nishimura.

Mirae stood still beside Mrs. Nishimura who was crying. On the bed lay the lifeless body of Riki who looked to be freely enjoying a new world away from the tragedies and difficulties of the human world.

"After losing my husband, he was the only one to be with me" Mrs. Nishimura sighed. "And today, I lost him as well."

"We'll take the revenge for his murder, he deserves justice." Mirae assured.

There were a few others who were gathered around which included Mirae's grandparents. The crowd looked with the peace of understanding on each face. It was time for the burial and the body was buried soon.

After everyone left the place, Mirae had been granted permission to stay with Mrs. Nishimura who would have been alone instead.

She sat on the bench outside the house when she felt a tap on the shoulder and the dead boy's mother passed her a tangerine and said, "you must be hungry and tired, have it"
