"You're obviously the exception" he laughed while Y/n had a shock on her face.
"I better get going," she exclaimed after recollecting herself.
"Are you planning to leave back your precious book for me to have a look ?" He exclaimed.
Y/n stood still and immediately turned back to stop her feet back and snatch the book from him, "uh, you may not need it, okay, good bye."
He pulled her back and the sensation of touch startled the girl who turned around with wide eyes.
"Don't-
"Yeah, don't worry, I will not disclose the fact that I saw your beauti-I mean, your face" she replied with a fake cough.
"You surely can't keep your thoughts to yourself, can you? Though I wanted to say don't trip on your way back but that will do as well"
"Well, I am great at hiding things!" she exclaimed with pride and he chuckled.

"Can you walk properly now?" Riki whispered in an attempt to break the silence that had followed him and Mirae ever since they had started walking back home.
"Well, yes," she replied.
"Are you tired? is there something-
"Why do you keep on asking so many questions, boy?" Mirae stated tiredly.
"No, it's just because you aren't behaving like you usually do" the young boy whined.
"what do i always do?"
"You just crack jokes and lighten the atmosphere," he explained. Mirae chuckled slightly and turned at him.
"Could you honestly answer a question?"
