"DIAGON ALLEY!" Came the shout from Angelus, and shortly after he threw down the floo powder, as he became engulfed in green flames. Disappearing from sight, and reappearing back in a separate fire place inside of the Magical Menagerie, a Magical creature store, at the North End of Diagon Alley. Once there Angelus, quickly began scouring the creatures that resided within. One in particular caught his eye, a Boomslang. A highly venomous snake all things considered. The snake approached the Glass, clearly curious about the boy as well. The two shared a look of understanding, before the hand of Cygnus, took ahold of Angelus' shoulder. "Come." Was all he said, as the boy soon left the snake, and the store with his family.
Once they left the store, they found they were rather close to Gringotts Bank which seemed to please Cygnus, as he guided his family past much of the crowd and straight inside of the Bank. Angelus looked around in awe at what he was seeing, he'd never actually been inside of Gringotts before, his Mother had always taken him to other places on Diagon Alley, and he found himself looking around, much to some of the Goblin's disgust. "Ahh Mr Black, I wondered when you'd be paying us a visit. Which means this must be young Angelus." The head Goblin leered over his desk, and straight down at Angelus who for his part, stared right back at the Goblin. "Not intimidated boy? You should be, now the vault is ready just as you have instructed, and the amount you requested has been siphoned into his account. Here's his key." The Goblin then handed a key down to one of his assistants, who in turn handed it over to Cygnus. "Now, would there be anything else you require Mr Black?"
After their dealings with the Goblins, the Black family found themselves back outside the bank and venturing forward towards the uniform store, when a small scream was heard coming from their left. Whilst most of the Black family carried on their way, Angelus stopped and turned to where the scream had come from. There, a red headed girl was slowly backing away on her backside from what looked like a snake of some kind. Though this one, was unlike any he'd ever seen before. It had three heads, each move in different motions. The girl looked beyond terrified with most of the other Witches and Wizards keeping their distance from the scene before them. Whilst the girls parents, (he assumes it was her parents) stood in shock and horror at the scene. Angelus quickly made his way over to the girl, and stepped in between her and the snake just as it was getting ready to strike out at her. The snake looked upon this intruder with a strange interest, as Angelus crouched down before it. Before he started speaking in some strange kind of language, that no one else would ever understand.
ŠŠ What are you? Why are you attacking this girl?ŠŠ The snake looked taken aback by what was said and didn't immediately respond, instead it would slither away back to wherever it had come from. Whilst the crowd looked upon the boy with horror, the young girl looked at him with wonder and awe. After all, he had quite possibly just saved her life! "H-How did you do that? You just sort of...hissed at it and it...how did you do it?" The red headed girl said softly, as she rose to her feet. Wait he hissed? But wasn't he talking normally just now? "I...wasn't I just talking though?" He was seemingly as confused as the girl, not knowing exactly what he had done. A question for Father perhaps? "I'm Lily by the way! Lily Evans! I'm a Muggle Born Witch, it's nice to meet-" Just as she was about to finish a hand clasped her shoulder, as a greasy haired young boy made his presence felt. "Don't bother with this one Lily, he's nothing but trouble. He's a Black, and the Black's are notorious for inbreeding, and Dark witches and Wizards. They also, hate Muggle born witches and wizards." The boy finished his diatribe, and Lily looked at Angelus and back to the boy who stood next to her. "But Sev, he saved me from that snake! Why would he-" She was interrupted once more, this time by Cygnus Black, who was now standing behind his son, eyes locking on to the young boy who had been badmouthing his family. "I suggest watching your tone Severus, lest I call your parents about how you speak to my heir. Now Angelus, come along. We don't want to mingle with those beneath us." Angelus cringed at his Father's words, before obeying him dutifully, as he quickly fell in line behind his Father. Though, his head would turn around, and his eyes would linger upon the red headed girl once more. A warm smile crept up on his lips, as she found herself doing the same back. The two of them, had unknowingly formed a bond between themselves. One that would be tested to breaking point, over the next several years.
