I don't know how to react at this point. I feel ecstatic that all this time I wasn't just dreaming up fairytales. I also feel scared, that I escaped a deadly situation only to be taken from my make-shift home. My make-shift home… A big smile graced my lips and I let out a yelp of joy. I was finally away from that horrible place! I ran around and kicked sand in the air as I went. I spun in circles and splashed into the water. I reminded myself of Rapunzel from Tangled when she left the tower. It was such a carefree feeling.

I twirled around and finally plopped down in the sand, my eyes gazing out of the soft and calming ocean. These beach waves were so much nicer than the erratic and crazy waves which plagued the coastlines of North and South Carolina. These waves were gentle and flowed nicely over each other. Once I had watched the ocean for a while I then spotted what appeared to be a ship off in the water.  I took in the details off the ship from afar as the seaside mist sprayed my ankles and toes. It had large white sails and yellow stripes along the side of it. Standing up I brushed the sand off my jeans and stood tall and proud. Well as proud as you could in a pink long sleeved shirt which said, "Pizza is my Valentine."

I watched as the ship came closer and closer until I could make out the outlines of the crew members. What confused me was they were moving about at a fast rate, like they were preparing for something. When they got close enough to shore I was well hidden in the tree's. A man walked down the wooden ramp which had been thrown over the edge and into the sand. It creaked and popped with every step. I felt myself shrink further and further back into the trees as I took in him and his crew. The man which seemed to be the leader of the ship stood with his eyes gazing into the forest. He had a long leather coat on over a dark outfit which matched. His ear was pierced and he had on heavy combat looking boots. What scared me the most was that he had a hook as a hand. Captain Hook?

I crouched silently as him and his men began to converse. Cupping my ear I was able to enhance my hearing well enough to catch snip-bits of what they were saying. "Just as planned mates. Surround Pan's camp from all sides, set up any traps you can and retreat. I want to damage his fighters so that we will have an advantage. Once the traps go off we will attack…" The man with the silvery hook said with a victory smirk as if he had already beat Pan and his men. Wait, Pan? As in Peter Pan? Are these people delusional? I thought I was on Neverland but, the sane part of me is fighting it with every shred of her will.

Hook and his men cheered and were dispersing when a voice suddenly called out to them. "You don't seem very smart, Hook." A deep male sounding voice said. I quickly turned my head, narrowly missing a tree branch, and saw a boy dressed in various greens and browns. He stood tall and confident but slightly taunting, as if he was laughing silently at Hook and his crew. Behind him stood many boys, teenagers and younger boys. They all had weapons in their hands and cloaks on their backs."Pan" Hook gritted out as his smile fell and he glared at Pan. Hooks crew drew their swords and stood behind their leader, ready to fight if necessary. Okay either I hit my head or was currently watching a fantastic play of Peter Pan. I ran my fingertips along my head and checked for anything unusual. Not a thing misplaced, unless you were to count my hair, because right now it was a birds nest.

I scolded myself for getting lost in my hair and tuned into the conversation in front of me. I took notice of how Hook and his men were standing in the forest were I was. I stayed quiet and hidden down low behind a bush, hoping not to be trampled or spotted. Hooks expression went from one of hatred to an evil mastermind. It was like he thought of something bad, a creepy smirk on his face. This can't be good. "Pan you never told me you had a lost girl" the man I have become accustomed to calling Hook said. Crap was I that bad at hiding? I looked around me to see the whole party looking at me, most in shock. Both groups whether leather-clad or layered in earthy fabrics were silent, well until one of the pirates tried to grab my arm.

I screamed and let out a can of ninja on him. What? I had to protect myself in Myrtle Beach, it was not always the safest. I had kicked the pirate in the shin and sprung up to my feet. As quickly as I shot up I captured his wrist and twisted it at an agonizingly odd angle. The pirate yelled in pain, but I was to focused on him. Next thing I know I feel myself being yanked away from him and something cool run across my neck. "Not such a smart move, love" I almost gagged when he said "love." I have hated that word since I was a teenager. "F off you crazy delusional pirate" I said and stomped on his foot. He only tightened his grip on my neck with his stupid shiny hook.

"What Pan never seen a girl before" Hook taunted. I glanced over and saw who I assumed to be Pan looking at me with a look of shock. It faded as quick as I saw it and was replaced with a smirk. "I don't know Hook, I always thought of you and your crew as a bunch of girls." I held in a laugh at that comment, that was so a burn. "Shut up girl" Hook threatened. "Let's just get this over with. Hand over the girl and I'll let you return to your ship. We all know that you can't defeat me Hook." I would have taken the deal, but Hook on the other hand seemed determined. "What makes you think you've won" Hook sneered at Pan. I was growing bored of smelling fish and standing like this, ugh. "I'm Peter Pan. I never fail, especially to someone like you. You should know that by now Hook."

It was quiet for a few minutes before I decided to talk. "Can someone do something, I don't want to smell this guys breath anymore." Pan laughed, it was way different from the smirk he had. "Of course, BOYS!" Pan yelled and within the blink of the eye he disappeared. The boys came running at the pirates and Hook cursed, still holding me. All the sudden Pan appeared in front of me with a smirk. "Hello there" I said as if I was in any other situation. He nodded and grabbed a hold of me and before I could react I was standing in some camp looking place. I quickly brought my hand up to my throat to see if I was bleeding, and I was. I was snagged by the stupid hook.  "What the fudgecakes!" I yelled and jumped away from Pan. "Stay here" he said and disappeared again. Thankfully he did not see my neck. I brought my hand away from my neck and saw a streak of red. Good, it's not that much, but still enough to knock someone unconscious if not wrapped. I walked around, searching the ground around me for some type of cloth or plant. After a while when I didn't find one I sighed and stopped looking. I then grabbed part of my shirt and tore the little section off. I wrapped my neck skillfully and finally took in my surroundings.

I looked around and saw I was in the middle of a camp like area with tree houses and a bonfire close by. I walked over to a log and sat down on it rethinking the previous events that had happened very quickly. Was I really on Neverland?
