Over the years Mae and I started growing apart. We hardly saw each other and we stuck to our own people. Especially at school. Highschool.

It was only until she started highschool that she gained this sudden popularity. Her everlasting beauty raised her fame at our school Conwire High.

Me....well...I got stuck with the different crowd. The 'Nerd World'. Being in the top 5 smartest guys in the school can really lower your chances at becoming 'Popular.' Also the fact that I had braces and the fact that acne was scattered across my facial features didn't help much.

It also lowers your chances of getting into a relationship with the girl you love aka Mae.

Mae had now become one of the school's biggest divas. I always thought that maybe I'd be the one to take her virginity but that dream is now long gone as that category had been filled up by thousands of hunks. Especially the first hunk aka Merron Stream.

On the first day of highschool he recognized Mae's beauty and wrapped her mind around his little finger, dragging her into every possible direction. He changed her. So did her 'friends.'

They changed her into the discriminating, manipulating, unkind, slųt she is now.

I say this because she hurt my feelings and broke the little remains of the love I had for her.

It was during April. She was 15 and I was 17. She had been hanging out with her so called friends.

I thought maybe I could've changed May by showing her the video I found on our old computer where we admitted that we loved each other.

She avoided me everywhere times before instructing me to leave her alone but I didn't budge.

I wanted my Mae back and I hoped to by showing her the video. Hoping she'd realize how close we were. So...she can come back to me.

So that day I held the camera that I owned walking towards her and the gang. They were eating their food spilling some jokes.

"So then the guy said-" My presence alarmed them so they stopped talking. Mae turned around to face the direction in which they were facing.

Her happy features turned to one of disgust. Rude but ok.

"What is that doing here?" Ouch. Her snobby red-headed partner in crime Layla asked. "I have no idea Lay and I want to know why."

"Oh well remember when you said how our love wasn't true? Well I want to show you that-" She sighed rolling her eyes. "Xavier....For the last time. We have no chemistry."

She ran a hand through her hair angrily. "We do Mae. The video proves it. Let me sho-"

"No Xavier. Don't show me. I don't want to see it." Her eyes were twitching almost as if she was trying to maintain her composure.

"Oh come on pleas-" She slammed her hand on the table.

"NO XAVIER FOR FÙCKING SAKES NO! THAT WAS JUST A STUPID FÙCKING CRUSH. IT MEANT NOTHING AND YOU MEAN NOTHING TO ME AT ALL! SO JUST FÙCKING STOP."

I hadn't noticed when my camera slipped out of my hand and fell to the floor breaking. The gang around her table look quite impressed with her response.

I wasn't impressed at all. I felt heartbroken. I felt as if I got rolled over by a tractor then stabbed multiple times in the heart. The people around us were watching the scene in awe.

Without thinking, I turned around and clumsily ran away through the hallways with teary eyes, a broken camera and a shattered heart.

During that moment I never thought I'd develop a hate for the girl I once loved...Mae Winchester....my EX-Lover.
