Izuku's POV:
"Made it just in time!" I sighed in relief as I reached where the U.A Entrance Exam was located. However, my relief only turned into anxiety as I walked closer to the building, realizing that I was so nervous that I forgot to test out my quirk. But then, that lead me to remember what happened earlier this morning...
"Eat this!"
All Might said in a firm voice, holding out a strand of his gold hair in front of me.
My excitement from this amazing opportunity drained from my body, not exactly sure how to react to what I was just told to do.
"H-Huh?"
I covered my mouth with my hand, "I may have swallowed the hair, but I don't feel any power yet."
"Stupid Deku." A familiar voice grumbled behind me. I turned around, and found Kachan walking in my direction. Both of his hands were stuffed in his pant pockets as he glared daggers at my person.
"Kachan!"
"Get out of my way before I set you on fire." He threatened.
His words sent me into a nervous ramble. "Oh, hey! Good morning! Let's both do our best out there! Okay? Yeah! Goodluck!" Only for him to walk right past me. Surprised by this, my green eyes followed him as he made his way towards the building.
As I watched the boy that had tormented me my entire childhood walk torwards the building's entrance, I managed to overhear two other boys our age talking to each other about Kachan.
"Hey, isn't that the guy from the sludge incident?"
"Yeah, he's the real deal."
'Ever since that day, Kachan has been taking it easier on me.' I sighed to myself. "I guess I must've been scared out of habit..."
"Izuku?"
Startled, I jumped in fright and turned around to see who said my name, surprised by who it was. "N-N-Nachan?" I shrieked. After exclaiming her name, a black substance began to emerge from her back and form a face, grinning at me with razor sharp teeth.
"Deku..." The entity gurgled.
"H-Havoc!" I screeched. "You're here, too! Of course you are. You and Nachan do share the same body after all, so it would be more of a medical concern if you weren't together. I would also be worried if he wasn't here with you and not glaring at me, because that would be out of character from his usual temperment and-"
"So, you're taking the Entrance Exam, Izuku?" Nachan asked, cutting me off from my rambling.
Extremely embarrased about my bad habits, I could feel my cheeks warm up. I scratched the back of my neck, trying my best to look at anything but her, deciding to focus on her shoes instead. "U-Um, yes. I'm here to take the Entrance Exam..."
"Really?" Nachan said in amusement, her voice sounding soothing as it was intimidating to the ears of whoever listens. "Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised about this, should I?"
I wasn't exactly sure if her words were meant to be a jab to my confidence or not. But, before I could question Nachan's comment any further...
What she said next left me surprised.
"Well then, good luck out there, Izuku." She said as she walked towards the front doors of the test building, ending her sentence with a small wave.
"Wow," I whispered to myself, "Nachan's taking the Entrance Exam, too." As soon as this fact was registered in my head, my mind went blank. "Wait-"
