Narumi's POV:

Aizawa just informed the entire class that three pros will be overseeing our training today.

"Who do you think it will be, Havoc?"

"My money is on Ectoplasm."

Hanta raised his hand. "Sir! What kind of training is this?"

Aizawa held out a card that labeled, "Rescue. You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that."

Everyone was getting excited. Me included.

"This sounds like it'll be a total workout." Denki said out loud.

"Totally!" Mina cheered.

"C'mon. This is hero training." Eijiro told his friends. "This is what separates the men from the boys. I'm shakin' with excitement."

Asui spoke up. "Finally, I'll be able to show off how good I am in water. Ribbit."

Irritated from being interrupted by his students, Aizawa raises his voice a little. "Guys, I'm not finished yet. What you wear in this exercise is up to you. I know you're excited about costumes...but keep in mind that you haven't gotten used to them yet, and they might limit your abilities. This special training's at an off-campus facility, so we'll be taking a bus to get there."

After Aizawa addressed this, he excused us to start getting ready. This was the moment I've been looking forward to. Getting the chance to learn more about rescue training. No fighting. Just prioritizing my focus on saving someone from a life-threatening situation.

I stood up from my desk, grabbed my suitcase with my student number, and headed for the girls' changing room to get dressed.

Third Person POV:

Standing outside the school, the U.A students awaited for the bus to arrive. They were all wearing their hero costumes, all but one certain green-haired classmate who was standing beside her. Narumi looked at him with a befuddled look on her face. "Izuku, you're wearing your PE clothes. Where's your hero gear?"

"It got destroyed during the combat training," He explained while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. "So I'm waiting for the support company to fix it."

"Ah, right." Narumi nodded. "Your combat training was pretty intense."

"Yeah..." Izuku replied with an impassive tone. "Uraraka and Iida shared with me how yours went. They thought you really played the role perfectly! I was surprised to hear that you stuck more with offense, but now that I think about it, Havoc would be better fit as the attacker. Not only that, but his combat and skills do give you more of an advantage in comparison to our class..." Izuku's stopped his mumbling abruptly when he noticed Narumi's somber demeanor. "W-Wait! I didn't mean that your quirk is-"

"Hey, it's fine. I'm not offended. Everything you said was true; my quirk is better off fighting villains head on. After all, my family has been taking down evil doers for generations. Although, a part of me desires to be a hero...whenever I remember how terrifying villains can be I get scared." Narumi smiled sadly at Izuku. "I guess I should be asking myself, 'Is my will to become a hero as strong as my quirk?'"

Narumi's words perplexed Izuku, and he didn't know how to respond to her. Her worries were far from relatable in his case. He wanted to reassure Narumi that she could do it and become a hero. That was what he used to do when they were kids, but then, the memory of her younger self crying at that park popped in his head.
