I ran back to my apartment. The rain was heavy and excessive and I had no umbrella. The night air was cool and I wore nothing but a dangerously revealing dress and the jacket my friend gave me. Both were thin and short.
Once I returned home, I grabbed a glass of water and collapsed onto my bed dramatically. I sat up and changed into my t-shirt that was incredibly oversized on my body then removed my makeup before brushing my teeth. I stared at the ceiling for a good five minutes before I fell asleep.
