Joan Jett was born Joanna Beatrice Marie Larkin. (Born January 15, 1960) Joan was an only child, who grew in the care of her grandparents along side older cousin Frankie. After she was abandoned by her stripper mother and a string of abusive step-fathers.
In 1981 when Joan, now going by her nickname Rebel, given by her cousin Frankie, left for Las Angels to find her Cousin, who had moved away in hopes of finding the father who abandoned him.
But before she found her cousin, she slept alone on the streets. With her things stolen, and no way of finding her cousin, who by now legally changed his name to Nikki Sixx, Rebel was alone. A teenager named Tommy Lee and a friend found the then 15 year old Joan. Tommy being a caring person took the teen in and helped her find her cousin.
Only days after Rebel was once again reunited with her cousin Nikki, staying with him in his rundown, one bedroom apparent, Mötley Crüe was slowly forming.

Joan has been in a few relationships since starting her life over in 1981.
Mick Mars.
Mick Mars became the guitarist in Mötley Crüe. Little was known to the others about the older man. But as time went on Rebel and Mick would spend more and more time Together, even without Nikki, Vince or Tommy around.
Rebel at this point 16 has fallen hard for the much older, mysterious guitarist. Mick was 30 and even if he too felt something for Joan, he tried his hardest to hide it.
But as time went on they ended up secretary dating, even managing to move her into his place since Nikki didn't have the room.
It wasn't until Joan realized she was expecting a child, that the news came out and things changed forever.
At just sixteen Rebel would become a mother, Mick already had a daughter from a past failed marriage and wasn't allowed to see Stormy Joy Deal, that is until things changed.
Now sixteen Rebel has Frankie Marie Mars, naming the child after her Cousins real name. She also become close with young Stormy once she could travel to see her father.
Joan ended up have a few more children.
