Tanjiro pov.

I am currently yelling at Zenitsu, "What the hell?! Why the f*ck would you say that?!" I screamed at him as I saw his face pale a bit. I could see tears forming at the edge of his eyes but I continue on, "Why cant you ever be grateful for anything? Your lucky your even alive, all you had was pure luck! You know what?! I wish we never even met in the first place!" I shouted before going silent when I looked at the blonde boy. 

His eyes were watering and tears were streaming down his face. He looked as if he just saw the demon tearing his life away. 

"Z-zenitsu.." I said. 

"Zenitsu I-" I was about to apologize when the blonde's face turned into one of pure rage, "Shut up Tanjiro! I dont want to hear your apology! Leave me alone!" Zenitsu said as he turned and ran out of the room, I didn't follow. I was staring after the blonde. Guilt wrenched in my stomach and I knew I had to wait and think up a good apology.

Zenitsu pov.

I was in my room. Sobbing. I shouldn't have said anything from the start. Tanjiro hates me now. 

I was hugging one of my pillows and hugging it close. I was covered by blankets and I could feel how wet my pillow was getting. I closed my eyes to sleep off the rest of the day. It was about sunset when I heard someone enter my room. 

"Zenitsu.." Came a quiet voice. 

I groaned and gripped my blanket tightly around my body. "What do you want Tanjiro?" I asked. I felt like crying again. His words hurt so much. 

I suddenly felt arms wrap around me and pull at me closing me against someone's body. "Zenitsu listen.." Tanjiro begged.

Tanjiro pov.

I was holding Zenitsu close. He wasn't even looking at me. I felt a tug at my heart and then I brought him closer. 

"Zenitsu.. I'm sorry for the things I said. It wasn't right, I was just angry. That doesn't excuse anything but please, I didn't mean it. If I could take back the words I said I would. Please, Zenitsu. Forgive me." I said as I noticed I was starting to sob a bit. Zenitsu shifted and then turned to face me. His gold and orange locks covering his eyes. 

He suddenly grabbed my face and pulled me in a kiss. I was shocked and didn't have any time to react when he pulled away, his face was a red flush. "T-tanjiro.. I forgive you. You idiot." He said as he smiled at me. 

My heart pounded in my chest, before I brought him into another kiss, his eyes widened and I pushed him up against the bed.

Zenitsu pov.

I could feel my face burning up, "Mnh- Tan- mphf.." I tried to speak, but he was holding me in that kiss for a while before he pulled back, his face red. 

"Zenitsu.. I love you.. You love me too, right..?" He said as I smiled and gave him a quick peck, before anything got serious. "Of course I do Tanjiro." I said as he smiled and hugged me close. We stayed on my bed for a while, cuddling, before falling asleep.
