Note: The details I wrote about the Haunted Mansion before Jack Skellington discovered it. It's based of my two fan fictions. Check them out if you're very interested. Thank you!
I followed the maid down in a hallway.
We were both walking slowly.
The lightning flashes thru the windows. Out in one window, there was a trio of the band performers. One with saxophone. The second one with an accordion. And lastly, the third one with a cello. It was raining out.
They didn't seem to care.
In a process, there are five paintings along the path.
I detect a Santa Claus with his sleigh. Flying in a sky with eight reindeers and the one with a red nose. The one that lights a way thru clouds and a fog on Christmas Eve.
That painting changed into Sandy claws with three skeletal reindeers. And his ghost dog Zero.
The ghost host mentions.
"Jack Skellington came here
from Halloween Town,
you'll notice his handiwork
scattered around.
This year, he's decided
to play Sandy Claws,
but when Halloween
creates Christmas...
you might see a few flaws."I do not find any flaws about this fantasy adventure. Even it's haunted.
I moved forward slowly.
The snowman with a Santa hat. Along with a green and yellow scarf in stripes. It's a snowy woods painting.
It changed into the pumpkin-man. All three pumpkins stacked. The top one was a Jack-o-lantern.
I may have glanced away the one detail that have changed.
Oogie Boogie was behind the stockpiled pumpkins. It's head was missing. And there are bugs everywhere (Glad I missed that!).
Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King painting. He's in the spiral hill graveyard as a background. Jack made some pose for a portrait. His left foot step over a Jack-o-lantern. His bony right hand was into his hip. And the other holding out a Jack-o-lantern. There are a few more Jack-o-lanterns along the ground.
It changed into Jack as Sandy Claws. In his outfit he wore for the Xmas holiday. Red suit. White trimmings. Black boots and belt. And a hat too. He had a green present with red ribbons held out. The pumpkins below him are the same. The background was covered in snow. Pretty much all over the ground.
The Haunted Mansion painting. Before Jack Skellington discovered it.
There was a tale that Jack, Sally and Zero discovered the place. Years before the ride came to the reality. It was the Pumpkin King who broke the curse of the haunted Gracey Manor. And Sally who brought Jack back from the eternal sleep curse. The Haunted Mansion Holiday would not happened if Jack Skellington did not find it.
The painting of the Haunted Mansion got added with Halloween-Christmas decorations all over. The same look that I entered earlier.
And lastly, Sally with a Xmas tree. She wore a colorful rag of patches.
In her painting, the tree morphs into the Halloweenish tree. How horrifying.
At the end of a hallway, there was a black transportation (it shaped like some rounded onyx gem).
The ghost host aforesaid.
"And now, a dark carriage
will take you away.
Sit back, rest in peace
in your black Xmas sleigh.
Your sleigh will accommodate
one or two more."That's a thing puzzles me. I'm the only one visiting this haunted manor. Unless the one or two ghosts might join me, for a ride around the place. Who knows?
Before I went in, I stared off at citizens of Halloween Town.
There were strange and unusual gifts in big boxes all across them in vertical.
From right to left: a vampire. With three more hiding in him (brothers I believe). Mr. Hyde and his two smaller selves (a medium and a small). There was an angel figure on top of the smaller Mr. Hyde. A witch brewing her cauldron. It looks like the candy canes became tentacles or vines in a black pot. Dr. Finkelstein with a skull, topped with a red bow. His brain was glowing. Mayor. First he was happy. And then, anxious. Sally holding out a red ribbon or fabric (my guess is sewing for Jack). She had snowflakes on that long cloth. Lock, Shock and Barrel above the presents. Shock had an light orange box (probably something creepy). Barrel had a big orange and black lollipop (it had a spider on one side. So disgusting!). In a black bag with pumpkins, Santa Claus with in it. He looked petrified. A clown with a tear-away-face. When he removed his face, a snowflake was in his head. Undersea gal with clam, wrapped in coral-colored bow. There's a skull in it. And a mummy boy with a spooky toy. It was a Xmas tree. Where that little fellow stood, there was a present with one eye on it (I don't know if that was real).
On the full bright moon, Oogie Boogie's shadow appears (Making appearance, is he huh?). Seconds later, there was a witch flying on the moon. And the ghouls carrying Jack-o-lanterns. And the fluttering bats.
There is a huge orange banner across the big group.
It says "MERRY CHRISTMAS" at first.
Then, the first three letters of MERRY changed into the mind-blower.
It reads "SCARY CHRISTMAS" instead.
Nothing dreads me on this night.
I go into the creepy transportation.
The ghost host stated.
"We hope you're prepared
for what Jack has in store."Oh, I'm prepared all right.
I may be a foolish mortal and such.
I'm willing to embark my chance to see what's in my dark fantasy adventure.
I cannot wait.
The maid waves farewell to me.
I waved back.
And my Halloween-Christmas adventure begins...
Next part coming soon!
