After the team had stared blankly at the dismembered robot, they quickly moved into action. Talia followed the group to the lab, where they placed Ultron's body on a table. Bruce began to look through files, scowling at the computer.
"All our work is gone. Ultron cleared out. He used the internet as an escape hatch." Talia looks over at Bruce, shaking her head slightly.
"Ultron." Steve states, drawing her attention.
"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other." The girl finds herself uncomfortable at Natasha's words.
"He's in your files, he's in the internet." Rhodey starts to pace. "What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?"
"Nuclear codes."
Talia starts to rub her eyebrow, thinking about how humans always seem to get themselves into these predicaments.
"Look we need to make some calls, assuming we still can."
"Nukes?" Nat asks. "He said he wanted us dead."
"Extinct." Talia speaks up, causing everyone to look at her. "He wants you all to become extinct." She crosses her arms, knowing that Ultron is planning something very bad for Earth.
It's silent for a second before Clint speaks up. "He also said he killed somebody."
"There wasn't anyone else in the building." Maria states.
"Yes, there was." Tony says while walking to a monitor. He turns on an image showing a broken up orange sphere.
"What?" Bruce goes closer and examines. "This is insane."
"Jarvis was the first line of defense."
"He would have shut Ultron down," Tony says. "It makes sense."
"No. Ultron could have assimilated Jarvis," Bruce counters. "This isn't strategy. This is...rage."
Talia's gaze jerks up as Thor comes storming in, dressed in full armor. Her brows raise as he lifts Tony up by the neck.
"Come on, use your words buddy." Tony pats the blonde's hand.
"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark."
"Thor," Steve calls out. "The Legionnaire."
Thor scowls and lets go of Tony. "Trail went cold about 100 miles out, but it's headed north. And it has the scepter. Now we have to retrieve it, again."
"Genie's out of that bottle." Natasha says. "Clear and present is Ultron."
"I don't understand," Dr Cho says as she looks at the broken robot. "You built this program. Why is it trying to kill us?"
The girl rolls her eyes as Tony starts chuckling, knowing that everyone is about to get more annoyed.
"You think this is funny?" Thor asks.
Tony turns. "No. It's probably not, right?"
"Nope." Talia mumbles.
Tony casts her a glance before continuing. "This is very terrible. Is it so..." He chuckles again. "Is it so...It is. It's so terrible."
"This could have been avoided if you hadn't played with something you don't understand." Talia nods her head as she agrees with Thor.
"No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It is funny. It's a hoot that you don't get why we need this."
"Tony, maybe this might not be the time." Bruce speaks up.
"Really? That's it? You just roll over, show your belly every time somebody snarls?"
