Someone knocks on the hotel door. "Come in," Johnnie answers groggily. He looks at the clock and it's almost 3 in the morning. Kyle comes in, closes the door behind him and explains that he can't sleep. Sighing, Johnnie shuffles over to one side of the bed.
This happened often. Whenever they went on tour, Kyle usually had trouble sleeping and always went to Johnnie's room. He didn't mind; he just wished Kyle would come to him in the first place instead of waking him up in the middle of the night.
Kyle gets in the bed and snuggles up next to him, burying them both in a sea of blankets. Johnnie plays some acoustic songs from his phone on low volume and sings along to them quietly. It comforts Kyle and all of his thoughts and troubles begin to drift away as he closes his eyes. Not long after, he's fast asleep. "Goodnight," Johnnie whispers.
