Breaking out on the deck under the stars and allowing the cool night air to hit me at I stared up at the sky. For the first time in four years, I didn't feel like I was running anymore, no more what ifs, just potentials. I heard footsteps rushing behind me as I stepped onto down from the boat onto the jetty, looking up I saw Nik's face illuminated by the moonlight.
"I love you, Aerwyna"
I smiled.
"I love you too, Nik"
"I'm sorry I couldn't love you"
I laughed, for the first time in four years, I laughed.
"That's okay"
He smiled and nodded,
I nodded,
And I left into the night.
