Layla separates her lips from Cesar's and looks him in the eyes. He looks back at her in confusion. "What?" He whispers.

"What are we doing?" She asks, confusing him.

"Making out?" He offers. She gives him a look and he sighs and backs off. "Not this again..."

"Cesar, I️ feel really bad okay? I'm-"

"Cheating on him, I know I know," he finishes for her. "But honestly Layla I️ couldn't care less about his feelings, alright?" Cesar brutally tells her.

"I️ know you don't but I️ do!" She pushes herself away from him and now stands up. "He's been really good to me," she expresses.

Not to mention the fact that on top of cheating on him, she's also lied and used him. The guilt and shame of what she's done over the past couple of months has been eating her alive and making her question who was she becoming and who would she be if she continued on that path.

"Couldn't have been that good," Cesar mumbles, making her glare at him. "Look, if you tell him what we're doing, it could get me or even the both of us killed alright?" He says seriously. "Layla I'm serious-"

"I️ know," she cuts him off, crossing her arms. "I️ gotta go," she grabs her things, "me and Danna have to study," she lies, making her way out the door.

Cesar walks her out and she quickly heads over to Danna's house. She knocks on the door, expecting Danna but Daniela answers instead. "What's up Prophet Princess?" She teases with a smirk.

"Really Dani?" Layla scoffs as she pushes past her. "Where's your sister?" She asks.

Daniela shrugs. "She's somewhere. Last time I️ saw she was in the kitchen but she might be in her room again," she tells her.

Layla thanks her and walks in, heading straight for her best friend's room. "Hey Danna, can we-" she stops short when she realizes what she just walked into.

Danna and Ruby, who were previously tangled up in each other, quick pull away, with Danna shoving him off of her, making him land on his ass. "Oh my god! Does nobody knock anymore?!" She screams.

"Ow????" Ruby moans from the ground.

"I️ am so sorry-"

"Get out!" Danna yells, prompting Layla to swiftly close the door on them. She could hear Daniela laughing her ass off from the living room and rolled her eyes. That bitch.

Ruby came out moments later with Danna trailing behind him. "I'll see you two ladies later, it seems you have a lot to talk about," he says before drying out the front door.

Layla turns to face Danna. "You and Ruby," she said with a smirk on her face. "I️ always knew you liked him."

"What do you want?" Danna scoffs as they both re-enter her room.

"I need your advice," Layla says.

Danna looked at her in disbelief. "Why? It's not like you needed it before," she sassed.

"Look Danna, you've been right the whole time," she finally admits. "I don't even recognize myself anymore! I️ let the hate and anger of these gangs consume me and I'm not even a member!" She complains.
