we were having lunch at the cafeteria when kai said he wanted us to meet someone. he got up from the table and came back minutes later with a girl. her name was eha and she was so pretty, kai looked at her like she was the most precious thing in the world.
he said she is his girlfriend.
you smiled at him? and congratulated them? you don't like him or are you just as good at pretending as i am? i don't know and it doesn't matter. you can like kai, you can like someone else, it doesn't change the fact that you will never like me and it's okay. because no one will ever like me.
im just not worthy enough.
i remember one time when i said that near you, you got so mad and kept saying how incredible i was and how you couldn't dream of a better best friend. i just wish you realized that im not all the things you think, so you could stop coming after me, and caring for me, and having to carry this huge burden that i am in your life.
p.s: you're what makes me think twice about giving up on my life.
