With the festival banquet ending on a awkward note,the town residents left the palace after bidding the four princes goodbye.When everyone else was gone,Yeonjun spotted M/N and Jeonghan walk back in "Speak of the devil,you two are back.Come and finish your food,don't let them go to waste".To his surprise,Jeonghan went to his quarters as M/N sat back down.Soobin went by his side and put his hand on his shoulder "I know you feel upset about Hueningkai revealing your secret,but is it really true?For all we know,this could be a simple ruse",M/N looked at him menacingly "Why would such a serious matter be considered a ruse,brother?All that left my mouth is the truth,I've never lied the very moment I knew that I would become the crown prince and heir to the throne".He stood up after he spoke since his dish had been emptied of its edible contents "Now if you could excuse me,I'll go to his highness and arrange everything he needs before he leaves the kingdom",he went to the stairs and intentionally didn't push back his seat.On the other hand,Hueningkai was wallowing in his tears as he knew he was the one to blame.

When M/N went inside Jeonghan's room,he saw the prince sitting on his bed with worry painted all over his face and his simple undergarments replaced his clothes that he wore for the festival.He walked to him and kneeled in front of him "Are you alright,your highness?",Jeonghan sadly smiled as he caressed M/N's cheek "How could I be alright if we were both embarrassed just like that?I certainly know that everyone in my kingdom will accept us being together but you're in a different situation,you'll be eaten with guilt left and right".M/N held his hand gently "I know that,this could be the reason why I won't be crowned as king at all and it hurts me deeply",Jeonghan went off the bed and kneeled down right in front of him "I'm sorry that we'll have to part ways like this,your majesty".He hugged him and kissed his forehead,M/N started getting teary when he imagined him being wed with a woman and sobbed as he hid his face in the crook of Jeonghan's neck.The older rubbed his back as he comforted him,on the other hand,the younger was in heavy pain that knew no end.

After M/N arranged everything that Jeonghan would need for his journey back to Caratia,he was at the throne room checking for anything that was missing or needed to be added.Jeonghan went to him bearing a small smile "I apologize that I don't have a parting gift this time,my leave was so sudden that it couldn't be prepared",M/N softly laughed "It is fine,your highness.Not all royal visitors must bring a parting and introductory gift every time they visit,everyone is welcome even if they have or don't have anything to give".They looked at each other for a while before they had a short kiss,Jeonghan pulled away and caressed M/N's cheek "I'll miss you,my love".M/N sighed as he took his hand off his face "I will also miss you,my king",they hugged each other for the last time before Jeonghan's assigned knight escorts brought him out the wooden doors.M/N wiped his teary eye as he saw the door close,he looked above and saw his brothers were looking at him.He turned away and headed for the door that led to the garden at the back of the castle,he was in no mood to converse with them and they could feel his silent anger rather strongly.

With the tense silence bothering them more and more,they went to where M/N was and looked for him.Fortunately,they found him by the fountain.They hid behind some trees and saw he seemed to be painting the garden scenery right in front of him,on the other hand,M/N had all his focus on what he was doing.His brushstrokes were delicate and smooth as he took his time,he looked around since he felt like someone was spying on him before his eyes rested on a familiar pair of eyes.He rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms "Yes,Soobin-hyung?",the other sighed and walked to him "Hey,I know you're upset with us but we're sincerely sorry for what we did.We reacted in a wrong way and forgot that it wasn't just us princes at the table,we'll do anything to get you to forgive us".M/N bit his lip "Just go,I want to finish this painting without any unnecessary interruptions",he felt all the air in him disappear when Yeonjun tightly hugged him.Yeonjun pouted as he rested his chin on M/N's head "We don't wanna go,we'll do anything so that you won't be upset with us anymore",his grip became tighter when the boy tried to push him away "I meant what I said,I will never let go of you".
