The King looked to the foot covered by the boy's arms with a serene look in his eyes. As Feng Xi and God of Books were about to break into cold sweats all over, they heard a sound that was as gentle as the breeze, "Does it hurt?"

Hearing that, Feng Xi grimaced in pain right away.

He suddenly remembered his foot which nearly fractured after hearing that question. Then he, stimulated by the pain, couldn't help but get a spasm. When he thought his leader was going to cure the injury on his foot, he suddenly heard the tender voice which sounded like the breeze. However, this time Feng Xi only felt he had heard the demon whispering.

"If it hurts, then I'll let you feel the pain for a while. You should learn the lesson!"

Feng Xi, with a frustrated look on his face, made an apology at once sincerely, "Sorry, it's my fault."

The King turned around slowly and then said, "Follow me." In the meantime, what Feng Xi didn't see was the look on the King's face had already turned tender.

Feng Xi knew that he couldn't get away this time, and he couldn't help but get cold feet, not willing to accept his fate.

God of Books looked at the back of the King with fear and swallowed. Then he said to his master who was very dejected, "Master, there's no need for me to stay, I'll leave then. I hope that I can see you tomorrow."

After saying that, God of Books escaped right away before Feng Xi could say anything. Meanwhile, there were two rays of light flying out from Feng Xi's body and following the direction where God of Books escaped. The lights were God of Bad Luck and Hairless Chicken that had been hiding in Feng Xi's clothes. They didn't dare to face the scary King of the Netherworld with Feng Xi. Thus, after hearing the words of God of Books, they decided to flee as fast as possible too.

When facing great disaster, friends would go separate ways! That was exactly what Feng Xi's buddies were doing right now!

Feng Xi could only goggle at the backs of them. At last, he stamped his feet and said, "The three bastards! Next time I will never share good things with you. Humph!"

After he had given vent to his anger, he followed the King lamely and reluctantly.

The Quiet Stage Palace didn't turn dark when night came. The whole palace was as bright as usual because the crystal ball inside was able to lighten every corner of the palace. Feng Xi suddenly felt his eyes being lighted up by plenty of lights. However, when he saw the white figure by the door of the palace, his face turned spiritless instantly as if he had eaten something he didn't like. That was mostly because he really was afraid now.

No one in the Heaven Peak Palace would scare him except for Uncle White.

Though Uncle White's face was still extremely calm, Feng Xi didn't believe this old man wasn't angry now. So the boy hid beside the King in a hurry while covering his head with the King's sleeve. After that, as he peeped at Uncle White who was standing so straight like the javelin, the latter's cold eyes suddenly fell upon him. Then Feng Xi didn't dare to look over anymore.

Only until the gate of the Palace closed and Uncle White was shut out did Feng Xi pop his head out in a gasp.

"That was close!" Feng Xi walked to the seat which the King usually sat on and collapsed on it right away.

The King didn't stop Feng Xi and only stood in front of the boy straightly, looking down at the latter. This gave much more pressure to Feng Xi who had just let his guard down. As he looked into the King's eyes, he sat properly at once and didn't dare to forget his manners again.

"Thief Master, do you know what your mistake is?" King of the Netherworld said that in a flat tone.

His words made Feng Xi's flesh crawl. He suddenly felt he had suffered from his own actions when hearing the King calling him that.

He found that his leader would only call him that when he did something wrong. At other times, he would be called Xi. This situation gave Feng Xi a feeling that the title 'Thief Master' had become a symbol of him making mistakes.

"Eh." Feng Xi curled up on the seat like a pitiful bunny as if the man in front of him was a ruthless wolf. With his ears drooping and his head lowered, Feng Xi said, "I know. I shouldn't play outside and come back late."

"And?" The King's voice came through again, sounding still very gentle but not as intimidating as before.

"And?" Feng Xi murmured that. The boy was completely confused by the King's words.

He didn't remember what other mistakes he had made. He did have stolen a Demon Beast Egg from the Worshipping Altar, but Uncle White found that out before Feng Xi could walk out of the palace where the Altar was placed. What was more, Feng Xi was also punished by cleaning the floor afterward. So it shouldn't be that. He broke the crystal ball and let the spiritual energy spill out again, but he had already fixed that up. Also, it had taken him three days in the palace to finish the repairing job.

In a word, Feng Xi really didn't know what other mistakes he had made!

"Eh, my leader, can you give me a hint?" Feng Xi couldn't get a single clue after thinking for a long while. Then he had to brace himself up to ask the King.

King of the Netherworld answered in a soft voice, "Has anyone provoked you today?"

"Huh?" Feng Xi said that in a loud voice and then goggled, "How did you know about that, my leader?"

After Feng Xi asked that, the King only stared at him without saying anything. Feng Xi forced a smile to hide the fear inside while trying his best to think of a solution with his eyes rolling, "There is a strange guy today indeed. He's just so weird. He didn't want the first or the second place but only the third one. Also, he told me to wait and see. I didn't even know what he was up to. I'd like to wait and see what he would do."

If Feng Xi's buddies were there, they would definitely burst into laughter.

King of the Netherworld gazed at Feng Xi for a long while and then said, "You are my boy, you don't have to bear his rudeness!"

"But what if I can't beat him?" Feng Xi rubbed his fingers with a confused look.

"I'll help you." The King replied.

"What?" Feng Xi raised his head.

It could not be what he was thinking right now!

Before Feng Xi was able to figure out the King's meaning, he was already dragged off the ground by the King...
