Feng Xi's miserable cry could not be heard in the hubbubs of voice.

A few figures dragged Feng Xi to the corner when no one had noticed them. Hairless Chicken, the tallest one among them opened its wings to block any suspicious eyes while glancing around like a guardian.

God of Books and Good of Bad Luck were the ones who had dragged Feng Xi to the corner. The lazy God of Books suddenly changed his attitude and glared at Feng Xi seriously, which made the latter feel nervous inwardly right away. Then, God of Books looked right into Feng Xi's eyes and said slowly, "Master, remember this, you can never take out a precious thing like Fruit of the World so randomly. If someone with an evil intention targets you, your troubles would be endless."

"Is it that serious?" Hearing that, Feng Xi felt that his heart trembled a bit.

"Of course, do you think this fruit is like a carrot?" God of Books rolled his eyes to Feng Xi and said that angrily.

"..." Feng Xi didn't say anything, since God of Books was actually right about that.

Seeing Feng Xi's reaction, God of Books, with his jaw almost dropping on the ground, though, 'Does master really think so?" Then, he really wanted to thump on Feng Xi and pinch the latter's ears to give him a lecture.

"Master, you have to keep in mind that you should never take out the fruit at any time. You see, one of the fruits in your wooden ring is already enough to make a stir in the God and Demon Kingdom. By then, all the experts would want to steal the fruit from you. Think about it, won't you feel scared if so many people covet the fruits in your wooden ring?"

"It does sound scary." Feng Xi touched his chin while picturing those people casting their gloomy eyes on him. Then he couldn't help but get frightened. However, he remembered another important thing right away, "But if I don't use the fruits, what else can I use to make a bet?"

"Eh..." God of Books was rendered speechless. After all, he was not able to help Feng Xi with the crystal thing even if he wanted to.

'You guys are always useless at the critical moment.' Thinking of that, Feng Xi stopped talking to them and began to rummage in his wooden ring to check if there was anything he could use as the stakes. However, only then did he find that his collection was so small because there was only a pile of green fruits in the ring.

Seeing the frustrated look on Feng Xi's face, God of Books closed his mouth and moved away. Right now, he only wanted to save his own skin.

However, when all of Feng Xi's buddies were trying to keep a distance from him, he suddenly showed a joyful look on his face as if he had seen the light of hope. After that, there was a milk-white stone appearing in his hand.

This stone was stolen by him from a stranger when he went to the Flying Dragon Pavilion. When touching the stone, Feng Xi could feel warmness being sent to his hand right away. So he assumed that it was not an ordinary stone and could be used to make a bet!

As Feng Xi was feeling good about himself, God of Books who had glanced at the stone couldn't help but cry out, "Master, where did you get this?"

"Nerd, do you think I can use this stone as the stakes?" Feng Xi didn't answer that question and only took that stone closer to God of Books.

God of Books approached the stone to take a closer look at it while stroking his chin like an archaeologist. After a while, he raised his head and said, "Yes, this stone doesn't seem like an ordinary object. Although it is not very precious, it should be worth a few pieces of red crystal."

"Just a few? Fine, I'll make do with it."

After Feng Xi and his buddies reached an agreement, they showed up in the square again. The place where the gambling was taking place was still very popular and the situation was getting even more chaotic. More and more people flooded in the place to bet.
