Muhammad's face was still expressionless, and the stark contrast made the smile on Mork's face look prominently evil.

After Mork put away the smile on his face, Muhammad said in an undulating tone, "Having received the help of our people, I hope you won't be disappointed at the end, Your Majesty."

And after that, he lowered his head again and continued to write.

Qingmu's generals exchanged their glances at each other, all somewhat confused as they would never know what this was all about, but since Infanta Hening did not say anything, they kept their mouths shut.

Song Qinghan and Wu Da Hu moved silently to the back of Hening's carriage, but they didn't dare to go any further as they would attract Hening's attention and, there was a potential that Mork and Muhammad would recognize them if they dared to take further action.

If Mork came to know that the duo was hiding here, he would have to kill them even at the expense of offending Hening.

And as for Muhammad, no one ever knew what he thought at all and what he was about to do. He was so mysterious that even the roundworms in his stomach would never know his thoughts.

Muhammad did finish writing first just as Mork had foreseen, but he did not hand it to Hening immediately but waited until Merk had finished before beckoning to the Qingmu general at the head of the group and placing the rice paper he was holding into his hands.

The general who received the rice papers unfolded them meticulously in hands, to show that he did not muddle their contents.

When he reached out to Hening's carriage, he purposely examined the corresponding owners of those rice papers. For one thing, he wanted to get the confirmation of their approval and for the other, to make Hening see clearer on their reactions.

Muhammad was careless towards it, and he thought that the generals should have considered associating the paper and its owner when they were writing in advance. If Hening failed to recognize the details, his title of Infanta would be with vacant shell.

Hening did not move much along the way, and he did not have much reaction as he was viewing the rice paper. Song Qinghan almost believed that he had fallen asleep if he did not watch him from the very beginning.

The atmosphere fell into silence for a while, even the distant sounds of the fight had unknowingly diminished, no one knew whether the combat had come to its end or they were waiting for Hening's decision.

After half an hour, Hening suddenly reached out and lifted the curtain of the carriage, calmly took a glance at Muhammad and Mork, and said soberly, "Are you two sure you will stop fighting after I make my choice?"

Mork narrowed his eyes and looked at Hening, seeing that he could not see any expression on his face, and for some reason, his heart was getting more and more uncertain, he frowned and said, "If this is your request, I will fulfill it."

Muhammad, for the first time, did not speak but nodded affirmatively.

Hening did not waste time at all, and he raised the rice paper in his right hand and uttered calmly, "Keep marching, we are not going to the barbarian side now."

When he said this, not only did Mork freeze, but even Qingmu's generals had a shocked look on their faces.

Only Muhammad looked as if he had expected this, and with a faint smile on his face, he urged his horse and slowly walked up to Hening's carriage, and then leaped out suddenly to where the coachman was, and after lifting the reins tightly, he slowly said, "Infanta Hening, sit tight, we will go home now."

The coachman was a bit resigned thereafter he was forced to get off the horse, but he could not afford to offend anyone, so he could only take Muhammad's original horse with a reluctant face, and fell behind the group, slowly moving forward.

The hand in front of Mork tightened slowly, and when he noticed the determination in Muhammad's eyes, he felt coldly wrathful as if the blood in his body had been frozen, so cold that it was frightening.

How dare Hening, how dare he not choose him but Muhammad? Ha! The emperor of Qingmu was so impotent that he did not have the power to keep everything on its track, and if he came to know that Hening had picked Muhammad instead of him in such a crucial moment, what would he do to tackle such an issue then?

The men behind Mork could not help but take a step forward when they saw Muhammad leading Qingmu's group slowly pass in front of them and ask in a low voice, "Lord, are we going to let them go like this?"

It was already a head-on blow for them failing to annihilate the group of Muhammad in this trip while their combating capacity was at the same level. However, losing the bride would be the biggest shame on him anyway.

Mork looked at Hening's side with a gloomy face, suddenly waved the reins in his hand and urged the horse, turned around, saying in a deep voice, "Let's go back."

Since this was Nening's personal choice and he had also promised that he would stop fighting after the decision, he would naturally not do something improper in the sight of so many witnesses. But no one was able to restrain him after this event.

As he turned his head, his eyes accidentally glanced at the side of Song Qinghan's face, and he subconsciously paused.

But when he looked carefully, he could no longer find any trace of Song Qinghan.

He calmed down himself a bit and tried to make things reasonable in his mind. Well, Song Qinghan could not take the initiative to come here again at all, so he shook his head, leaving all the mess behind him and left.

Song Qinghan couldn't help but sigh out of relief after Mork's leaving, he raised his head secretly and hid among the crowd. But the man who stood aside him still noticed his movement, so Song Qinghan delivered an awkward smile while pulling Wu Dahu's hand and asking, "What should we do now? Follow Muhammad?"

Speaking of which, the fact that Hening would choose Muhammad was somewhat out of his expectations. He knew that Hening was not the kind of person who would sacrifice himself for the sake of his loyal family and country, but it wasn't that easy to convince him, and he didn't know what Muhammad had written on that piece of paper to make He Ning choose him without even the slightest hesitation.

But since it was the personal choice of Hening, he definitely wouldn't say anything, but Qingmu's generals weren't as calm as them.

Even though Hening's life was no longer in danger, they had made a mistake in welcoming the wrong man!

Hening himself might be fine, after all, he had already married and would probably never return to Qingmu Region for the rest of his life, but they were holding the mission! They would still go back to Qingmu and report on the completion of the mission!

And if they just came back to the country without finishing their mission, they would incur the rage of the Emperor!

However, things had developed like this. If they were to make a move heading back right now, Muhammad would refuse, as would Hening.

As more and more people realized this, Qingmu's group gradually dispersed and the disturbance among them became louder and louder as if they were put into a bazaar.

Muhammad suddenly stood up from the carriage, turned around and looked at the crowd behind him, smiled faintly but uttered aloud, "Don't worry about the punishment you may face when you return, guys, I will write down the causes and consequences and send your emperor a letter when you have finished sending your Infanta Hening. He definitely will understand you after reading it!"

Everyone exchanged glances among the crowd. Although they were reserved for what Muhammad said, it was not good for them to act too overboard and they cupped their fists and showed their gratitude.
