Finally, the man gave it up playing around, and they walked into the tent where the Commander General stayed.
It seemed that the Commander General had almost completely recovered from his previous injury now, yet he didn't look quite well. His face was as old as a veteran tree as if he got ten years older over one night.
It could be seen that when he caught the glimpse of Wu Dahu and Song Qinghan, his deep and black pupils revealed an emotion of complexity. No one would ever be able to probe into his inside world.
The man released Wu Dahu's arms and then bowed to the Commander General paying salute, "General, I brought you the traitors Wu Dahu and Song Qinghan back now! How will we convict them?"
Song Qinghan was a little distracted there because he was curious where Xiaoyan had been taken.
From the moment they entered the camp, they were forced to separate. And they even got no chance to meet each other again. So he was quite concerned whether these people would let Xiaoyan go or not.
Well, it seemed that being an ordinary person sometimes might be a blessing, at least he wouldn't get that much attention.
The Commander General waved his hand without any emotions on his face after the man's statement, motioning him to straighten up.
"I got it now, you can leave here now."
But when he moved his gaze on Wu Dahu, his voice suddenly shifted from a stern one to a gentle one, "You'd better tell me everything about what you've experienced in the barbarian regions."
Noticing that the Commander General didn't seem to have any intention to convict Wu Dahu of treason at all, and instead wanted to give him another chance, the man suddenly got insanely annoyed while the expression on his face got even darker.
"General! Wu Dahu now is the traitor! You shouldn't stay with him alone in the same tent!"
Upon hearing the man's words, the Commander General frowned slightly and then he responded, "Do you mean that I will become a traitor as well if I stay with him alone in the same tent, or?"
Even though he looked much older than before, his imposing temperament still hid among his eyebrows as it would never fade away no matter how old he was. The man's lips twisted with reluctance, but in the end, he failed to say something further and lowered his head silently, and then left the tent together with the subordinates he brought.
After the man and his subordinates finally disappeared, the Commander General waved his hand casually to Wu Dahu and Song Qinghan, and he uttered gently, "Have a seat, it is quite a long story about what I am going to talk with you guys."
Wu Dahu took a glance at Song Qinghan. And Song Qinghan finally came back to his senses, he nodded, and then pulled Wu Dahu to the other side and sat down.
Well, Song Qinghan now was like a guiding light to Wu Dahu. As long as he told Wu Dahu that someone was a good-natured person, Wu Dahu would be with a nice attitude to the other party; and on the contrary, he would show no mercy towards the one who Song Qinghan claimed to be bad.
Song Qinghan took the initiative to confess what he had experienced from the very beginning he headed to the barbarian area till they came back, yet he purposely did not mention the agreement he reached with Mork. He who came to hear the news would feel uncomfortable after all even though he was forced to make that decision for his life.
