C323: Reversal

Wu Dahu wanted to be the volunteer down there to probe the way himself rather than risking Song Qinghan in danger. But now it seemed to be the most crucial moment which did not allow him to be hesitant, so he could only loosen his hands slowly, witnessing the giant python dragging Song Qinghan down there in a slow pace.

The python, however, did not seem to have an intention to release Song Qinghan after Song Qinghan landed, and it even wanted to take him away.

He hurriedly raised his head and shouted, “Come down now, as long as the giant creature leaves, the snake pack will attack!”

To his surprise, it was the old man jumped down first before Yuan Wenxuan and Wu Dahu, and then followed by them.

Right at this time, the python had already started to move forward as if it did not notice the presence of the other three, only letting Song Qinghan cling tight on its body while heading to the darker area.

The snake pack seemed to have perceived the movement of the python as it wiggled quick to leave, they all surged fiercely like a flood. And Wu Dahu, on the other side, hurriedly grab Yuan Wenxuan and the old man by the shoulder and quickly followed the python up in behind.

Both the old man and Yuan Wenxuan knew that it was the most critical moment for them, so they did not dare to say anything redundant but adjusted their own pace in accordance with Wu Dahu’s, trying their best not to be an encumbrance to him.

If they had no power to fight, they should at least be obedient. Even if Wu Dahu had to leave them behind for his own survival, they would have no complaint either.

Not long as they moved forward, the ground started to become damp while they could hear a crystal-clear sound from water dripping.

Song Qinghan was fine feeling nothing dampening since he was staying right on the python’s body, however, Wu Dahu, Yuan Wenxuan and that old man had already got their shoes completely soaked in the water, which at the same time the water made them quite hard to move forward.

Wu Dahu paused all of a sudden and turned his head back to look at the old man subconsciously. Seeing that the old man was currently panting hard supporting his waist, he said nothing but waited there.

Song Qinghan could not control the speed of the wiggling python himself, yet the python itself seemed to be quite sensitive to the situation of the rest of the people. And when it perceived that Yuan Wenxuan couldn’t catch up, it slowed down, making sure that Yuan Wenxuan could be caught in sight for Song Qinghan.

No one knew how long they travelled, but suddenly there was an abrupt light glittering right in front of them. And Song Qinghan could make sure that it was indeed the exit for the place underground. With excitement, he couldn’t help but cheer a little bit inside.

They finally made it, made it to get rid of that demon…

The light gradually grew bigger in sight. But wait, it could be seen that there was a shadow hidden right in the center of the light. As they got closer, Song Qinghan withdrew the smile on his face gradually with his throat tightened as if someone was trying to choke him to death.

The python seemed to have perceived something as well, and it took a sudden pause and stopped wiggling, staring at the shadow together with Song Qinghan.
