Possessive CEO

New job

   Tay's parents were happy to hear about their sons new job.

   "I'm soo proud of you son", His mother said while hugging him.

   "Yes son lets call Waan and share this news with her", His father asked him. Tay nodded his head. They video called Waan, who was already home studying.

   "Por, Mae what suprise do you have for me", She asked.

   "How are you soo sure it's a suprise", Por asked her .

   "Ofcourse a little bird told me that my brother attended the interview with his favourite company", Waan answered with a teasing smile.

   Tay smiled and answered "P'Waan I got the job".

   "I'm soo happy for you little brother. I'll be coming home next month and I expect a party from you", Waan said and Tay nodded his head happily.

   "Sure P'Waan I'll be waiting", Tay said. Waan then cut the call.

   Tay's job went smoothly. He had a great team, great leader and great CEO. He even made friends with Krist and few other employees in his first.

   "So... Tay are you free this weekend", Krist asked as they both sat down for lunch on Friday.

   "Why Krist?", Tay asked.

   "Thought of asking you out for lunch", Krist said.

   "I'm not sure Krist. If my mom doesn't need me I'll come also, my friend will be coming home this weekend ....... How about all three of us hangout", Tay said.

   Krist looked at Tay unamused. The oblivious Tay didn't yet catch on with Krist's flirt. All of Krist's flirt throughout the week went to vain as Tay didn't seem to get anything. "I need to go. I have work", Krist said as he sighed and left without looking at Tay.

   'Did I do something wrong', Tay thought. He continued eating.

   New was quite happy with his new recruit. That guy did his work on time and made sure to complete all the work given to him. It has been a week and he didn't seem to be the kind to get into trouble. Tay even made New get more sponsors for his company. He even made Krist to stop flirting.

   "Should I give Tay a promotion or rise", New asked Krist on saturday.

   Krist thought for some time  and said "I really don't know. He is a sweet innocent guy and a rise in salary is better than promotion considering the fact that he will be needing to deal with those bastards once in a while. I don't want to see my dear friend get hurt".

   New looked at Krist suprised and asked "weren't you wanting to get into his pants a while ago".

   "Maybe I was but not anymore. He is too pure to be tainted. He is better of as my friend than one night stand", Krist said.

   "Ok then I'll see how his progress is this month and we can decide later", New said and went back to discussing his schedule.

   New left the company to get lunch with his mother by the restaurant close by.

   "Mae you didn't need to come here. I could have come home", New said as he sat down.

   "Shh... wanting to meet my son is not a sin. Now eat. I ordered all your favourites", Preda said.

   New looked at his mother with a raised eyebrow and said "What do you want".

   "My son knows me too well. Well I just met my childhood best friend who I got separated from in school days. As you see now that we finally met I have been talking with her since morning and found out that she also has a son around your age who is also a engineer who is working now. As you can guess I want you to gone on a date with him tomorrow. Just give it a shot please my dear son", Preda explained.

   New looked at his mother for sometime and said "Fine I'll", And started eating.

   "You see their family is not as rich as us but they are good people so......", Preda trailed off.

   "Mom don't worry I'm not gonna be mean. I'm sure not all people who aren't rich are good diggers", New said, remembering the time people just wanted to be with him either due to fame or money. Luckily he had had few relationships which weren't based on that but none worked out.

   "Yay....... I'm soo happy son", Preda said and started to have lunch.

   Tay reached home at evening on Saturday after a day full of work and now he can just sit and relax. His mother was already there and started cooking.

   "Mae, what are you cooking", Tay asked.

   "Nothing much dear. Some Pad Thai", His mother said. Tay smiled.

   "I will fresh up and then help you",  he said.

   After freshing up he came down stairs and helped his mother. "Mae what makes you smile like that", Tay asked noticing, His mother's constant smile.

   "I'll tell you when we eat dinner", His mother said as she started setting the table.

    The family soon started their dinner. Tay wanted to ask his mother about the mystery behind her smiley face but he kept quite. "So ...... I had met my childhood friend Preda", His mother said.

    "One sec..... Preda, the most famous actress who resigned a year ago", Tay asked his mother.

   "Yes Tay. She was my childhood best friend but we unfortunately had to part ways at young age. We met today morning. We chatted a bit and found that her son is only a year younger than you. We want you both to meet up", His mother said.

   Tay was processing the information. He then suddenly dropped his spoon. "You want me to go on a date", He asked looked at his mother.

   His mother nodded her head and said "Please Tay just meet up. Please".

   Tay sighed and nodded his head. "What's his name", he asked.

   "Oh... I forgot to ask", His mother said.

   "When is the date", He asked.

   "Tomorrow. At one".

   "What...... Ok then. Where is it", He asked.

   "I'll send you the address".

   "Now that I finished. I'll go sleep", Tay said as he got up and left.

   "Is he going to be fine", Tay's mother asked Tay's father.

   "He will be fine", was the answer she got.

   Tay went to his room and lied on the bed. He sent his friend a message about cancelling the hang out with a whole bunch of emojis. He looked at the ceiling. He needs to finally do it. He can't keep on running away. It has been five years and yet he still didn't move on.

"You can do it Tay", He told himself as he went to sleep.
