New got up late as he did during any Sunday. He went to living room to find his parents watching Netflix. This has been a routine for the family. The Sundays are lazy and no schedule days. There was no work but everything else.

Preda saw her son and said "There is only an hour for you to get ready. If I was you, I wouldn't waste my time loitering around".

New nodded and got his usual cup of latte and went to get ready. In half an hour he was ready and came out in a orange shirt and black jeans. He looked good.

New took his Audi car keys that he usually uses only for hangouts with friends or trips. He went to his mother and asked "Mae how will I recognize him".

"Oh yes I forgot to ask the boys name. I'll tell her the table you reserved in the restaurant", Preda said. New nodded and went to his car to go to his blind date.

Tay as usual got up early and made breakfast for his parents. They soon got up and the family had their breakfast.

"Tay you didn't forget about the date right", His mother asked.

"No Mae", He replied with a smile. But his mother knew Tay was nervous.

"Tay if you feel like not going it's fine I will not force you", His mother said looking guilty.

"No Mae I'll go. I can't always run away. When he comes back I want to show him I'm fine. I should move on", Tay said. His mother and father smiled at him.

"Look son. I know this is difficult for you. I'm proud of you. Now my little son is grown up and I'm happy you are soo strong", His father said and patted his head.

"Hmm... Yes Por. I will", Tay replied with a genuine smile.

Tay went to his room and looked through his clothes. He didn't have many but he still had a good amount of clothes that he needs to go through all of them to figure out what to wear. Tay looked at his clothes for some time........ Tay went through his clothes once..... twice....... thrice. Tay sighed and took a plain white t-shirt with faded jeans.

Tay got ready and went downstairs. He went to his mother and asked "Mae where is the meeting".

"Tay I already sent it to you", His mother said.

"Tay you look hand some", His father commented giving his mother a glass of juice.

Tay looked at the location his mother sent and said "Mae it's in 'The Peninsula'. Do you know how expensive it is. I can only pay for simple meals".

"Tay let the man pay", His mother said as she turned on the television.

"Mae......", Tay said but soon realised what she actually meant. "Mae we are just meeting this is not even a date", Tay said making his parents chuckle.

"Also he already reserved the table under Preda name. It is informed that they are for only two people so don't worry", His mother said and nodded.

"Ok Tay it's already twelve you will take at least one hour to go. Better grab the taxi now", His father said. Tay nodded his head and left.

New arrived first and went to the table reserved for him. Luckily there were very less people and New was happy to have the privacy. He sat in the chair with his back facing the entrance to the hotel.

"Sir would you like to order or are you waiting for someone", The waiter asked.

"No I'm waiting for my friend. We will order after he comes", New said. The waiter left.
