History. Not much is known about Tamayo's lifestyle when she was a human except that she was a married woman with children. Shortly before she became a Demon, Tamayo fell ill with a life-threatening disease and began seeking a cure, which is how she first came across Muzan Kibutsuji. Much like any other demon, Tamayo used to be a human being before she was turned into a demon. However, as a human, she faced a life-threatening ailment and was desperate for a cure. Tamayo's Blood Demon Art comes from her supernatural blood — she's able to draw her blood and use it to perform spells with amazing effects. The first spell we see is Scent of Illusory Blood Visual Dream, which she uses to create visual hallucinations that look like flowers. Despite her sweet demeanor, she's shown to be an exceptionally strong-willed and intelligent woman who is able to help Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko, fight the series' primary antagonist, Muzan. However, the anime doesn't do justice to this lady, seeing how a lot of her character arc was chopped in order to maintain the anime's screen time. So what was left out in the anime?
