The Haunted Town (Halloween Special) [Fluff]

A/N: I dearly apologize to how late this is, and it's so long as well T.T It was meant to come out at Halloween but it's taken ages :/

Summary: Kokichi knows that there's a haunted and abandoned town nearby, so he suggests exploring it with the DICE members and you.

"Hey guys!" You heard a cheery voice ring from the outside of the worn-down barn, hauling the door open. The DICE members that were scattered throughout the barn perked up upon the voice, turning their heads in the direction of the voice. "Guess what!"

You sat up from the floor and stood on your spot. Kokichi wore a grin, marching in as the scent of warm pizza began to spread throughout the barn. Some of the DICE member that sat on the overhang above the door, stopped the dangling of their feet as they immediately stood from their spots and began to climb down the ladder from the overhang. The rest of the DICE members began to flock towards Kokichi, wearing smiles and grins across their faces.

Kokichi always made it a thing that he would bring pizza to DICE Headquarters, it was something that you have discovered ever since you joined the small group of pranksters. You never thought that DICE Headquarters would be inside a large barn, just barely holding onto the scratchy red paintjob from the outside. You could tell that DICE have been together for quite a while as the barn from the inside had no sight of hay lying around on the floor and haybales seized from the building. The large overhang was something you admired a lot. It was tidy as it was high above the main doors of the entrance, giving a birds eye view from the over hang as the large beams crossed each other above. The lights dangled from the beams above just holding on by a string. It gave the group the chance to hang out at nighttime as well.

Despite being part of the group for a couple of months, you grew a liking to the old barn. You were still getting used to the smell of the rotten wooden beams above, The old slots of what used to be stables for horses were clean, leaving DICE members free to explore small crevice's. The DICE members just so happen to clean the areas up, leaving the whole barn to be a large playground for the rest of the group, sometimes even challenging each other to see how high you could climb on the beams.

"HEY! Y/N!" You heard a voice easing into your ears as the voice became more and more clear, warding off your thoughts of the barn away. You quickly blinked as a hand made a waving motion in front of your face, trying to get your attention back to the speaker. "You know, you're not gonna have any pizza if you're just staring off into the space Y/N" Kokichi said with a frown, standing up from his crouching position in front of you and making his way back to the group that were already eating.

"Opps, I'm sorry Kokichi.." You said, letting a short chuckle follow you. You made your way towards the group who were placed all around the main area of the barn with 5 pizzas on the floor.

"What have you planned this time Ouma?" One of the DICE members asked, partly muffling the question thanks to the pizza in their mouths.

"Well." Kokichi said as he sat down, soon taking a slice of pizza in his hand. "I found out that there's an abandoned town nearby, and it's pretty easy to get into!" Kokichi stated as he took a bite out of the pizza. "It's 15 minutes away, and we only have to jump a fence, just like the waterpark!" Kokichi beamed as the sentence was once again muffled thanks to the pizza.

"Again? We always explore abandoned buildings, it's always the same thing." One of the DICE members remarked with an annoyed tone, crossing their arms as they shifted their mask from their face, displaying a frown towards Kokichi. "Can we at least do something new?" They muttered under their breath, moving their eyes away from Kokichi.

"Hey now," Kokichi said as he took another piece of pizza. "This isn't just any abandoned spot; it's also rumored to be haunted!" Kokichi beamed and he lifted a piece of pizza into his mouth once again. The DICE members perked up, raising their eyebrows and turned their attention towards Kokichi. You turned your gaze towards Kokichi and raised your eyebrows in a keen interest to what Kokichi has to say.
