This was a bad idea. Y/n only wished that she'd realized it sooner. She knew the names of only a few of these teens. Excluding her, everyone was drunk. Many of them had earlier attempted to coerce her into drinking, but she refused. Someone had to be sober amongst these heathens.
Especially now.
There had to be about six people altogether standing in front of the abandoned factory. Y/n recognized it from the old Playtime Co commercials she could only faintly remember. She could remember begging her parents for a toy from that wondrous factory. Every child who owned a tv must have done the same thing. The old building looked so sad now. Decrepit and abandoned, left behind, only to exist as a memory. She wasn't sure what exactly happened to the place. All she knew was that something horrible happened within the now stale walls of Playtime Co toy factory. She recalled being too afraid to investigate about it, as she was only a small child then. 'A horrible accident' was all she needed to hear.
Y/n shivered. She wasn't sure if it was from the bitter Autumn cold biting through her thin sweater or the crushing eerie feeling she got just from being so close to this place.
"Y/n, come here!" Eddie demanded, digging into the dirty black backpack he was carrying with him.
Everyone was huddled around him, a putrid cloud of alcohol stink floating around the bodies of the gathered teens wafting around them like mist. Eddie was the one Y/n knew the most. She'd only moved here a few months ago, so it was a wonder she knew anyone.
"Come on, move it!" He urged with a hint of good-natured laughter in his voice.
Somewhat reluctantly, she did.
"What are you guys-" she cut herself off as soon as she realized what everyone was doing.
"I don't-... I don't have to, do I?..."
"Of course you do! Everyone else is doing it." Eddie said with a grin.
"Maybe I should just... Keep watch? Shouldn't there be someone sober in case something happens...?"
" Pssh, Y/n, just let loose. Nothing bad's gonna happen. The worst that could happen is a bad trip. "
"I've never done LSD before..."
" Then, you should try it! It's lots of fun, I promise. We'll take care of you. Plus, exploring this factory while tripping is gonna be awesome! "
He put a reassuring hand on her shoulder, the little slip of LSD resting on his thumb.
"I don't think I sh-"
Without warning, Eddie pressed the slip onto her tongue, his thumb sliding past her lips. She considered biting him in that moment. She really should have.
"There. See? You'll love it. Plus, I don't wanna bring any home cause my parents might find out. Let's go in! "
She was not at all satisfied with his horrible excuse.
"Are you fucking serious? I said no!"
"God, quit whining. It'll be fun."
"I cannot believe that you seriously just shoved acid into my mouth."
Without any further hesitation or consideration for her feelings, he moved past her and walked ahead. Y/n, in shock, just stood there with her mouth open. She didn't even realize that everyone was starting to walk ahead of her. Someone gently grabbed her arm and started to pull her along.
"Sorry. He's just like that." Said the someone.
Y/n turned to see a girl. She had black hair chopped off above her shoulders and a rather large nose. She was pretty, though. The girl had several piercings on her face. A few nose rings, eyebrow piercings, lip piercings, and of course some earrings as well. She was very pale, too, with large, dark eyes.
