Angel and Theodore had a 'What we need to do before baby jellybean arrives' everything was done apart from decorating the nursery.
Theodore was incredibly happy within himself that he didn't need to call in reinforcements to help him build the crib which would be the centre of attention.
Angel's job was to paint the four walls and add animal stickers to the walls for decorations and learning.
"Where do you want your rocking chair m'lady?" Theodore asked as he walked through the door carrying the cushions and throwing to drape aesthetically over the chair.
"Can you put it by the bookshelf but angled at a slant so I can maybe watch the sunset and sunrise while feeding?" Angel said as she leaned on the wall as she was out of puff.
"Of course." Theo said as he opened up his arms as a non-verbal communication.
Angel relaxed immediately in her husband's strong arms.
This is the perfect life.
While hugging, they both felt their little jelly bean interact with them as well by kicking through mummy's tummy.
"Hey bubba, can you let mummy relax in daddy's arms please, she's been lacking in sleep and she would like to have a little nap, why don't you have a nap as well." Theo said in his 'dad voice'.
Angel loved when her husband showed and showered their baby in love.
He would be an amazing dad and Angel was incredibly lucky to have him as a husband.
While theo was carrying on decorating the nursery, Angel took a seat on the rocking chair and began reading her pregnancy book.
"Wow, did you know I'll get extremely happy when I see you holding our little jelly bean." Angel exclaimed happily.
"Well obviously you will get happy when you see me holding our child, just like I will when I see you being a star delivering our little jelly bean." Theo said while hammering a framed painting of a giraffe.
"Awww theo! What I meant was according to this book, my hormones increased almost 50% higher to what they normally are. So I will be extra happy for longer and I think that is why some women get post par-tum depression as you won't feel that happy after your hormones go back to their normal level." Angel said as she lifted her t-shirt dress up and began using her hand to caress her bump lovingly.
"Well I shall assure you that no matter what happens physically and mentally I will always love you for you. I'll help you no matter what." Theo admitted while walking up to Angel to give her a small kiss filled with love.
Roughly an hour went by and Angel went downstairs and began to cut some peppers and steam some other veggies ready for the spicy tomato pasta bake.
While cooking Angel could not help her mind but wandered off into the distance thinking about how nice it would be if her and Theo could adopt a rescue dog as she loved the idea of her baby growing up with a little fur sibling.
As Theo walked down the stairs in his tight grey joggers and a t-shirt one size too small, he smelt the dinner cooking and noticed it was starting to smoke ever so slightly.
"Ange.... babe... turn the fan on as it's starting to smoke!" Theo said standing close to his wife's side in case she was feeling ill.
"Theo... I'm so sorry. I was thinking about our future and completely forgot what was going on in front of me." Angel apologised in a sad tone.
Theo recognised the sad tone and quickly pulled his wife into a strong loving embrace.
"Thinking of our future.. hmn ''Theo said in a sarcastic tone.
"So how many kids do we have? Do we still live in this house or do we move?" Theo asked many questions.
"Well first off... let me have this one first.. but yes I believe we might have two more maybe three depending how old we get. We stay here but extend a few rooms and redecorate many times." Angel answered her husband's questions.
Dinner was eaten in the living room while the replay of the recent England vs Africa football match was on the TV.
Theo was only watching as a few of the football players were his mates through college... Jordan Henderson and Ben Chitwell.
"Babe... I never asked you, do you have any baby names you like." Theo asked his wife who was currently shuffling her bump and lower stomach out of her leggings so she could be comfortable.
"For a boy, I like the names... Luke, James, Matthew and George. For a girl... Rose, Zara and June. What about you?" Angel said.
"Aww I love some of those names, for Boys... I also liked Matthew, Joshua, Chris and Joanne and Daisy." Theo said before taking a large forkful of the past bake.
Angel grabbed her phone and typed all the baby names down onto her phone notes to make sure she could see them when the time came to name their baby.
The football match began white noise to Angel as she began to slowly drift off asleep on the sofa as she had a full belly of good food.
Theo watched his wife slowly drift off, he grabbed the blanket that was on the poof by the tv and placed it on top of Angel and he tucked in it all the right places so she would be warm.
"Night night gorgeous... I'll be in the office filling some important papers but I'll come in and check on you." Theo whispered.
Theo stuck to his word and began to carry on filing his sheets full of data.
It took him an hour and a half. So when he checked his time he went into the living room and checked on his wife who was still asleep and cuddling the blanket even tighter than before.
Theo was glad to see his wife asleep without being in discomfort. Most nights Angel would only manage to get a few hours of sleep and even then it only lasted until lunchtime then she needed a nap.
When Theo came to the conclusion it was better to leave his wife on the sofa he went over to the downstairs guest bedroom so he could be close to Angel in case anything happened.
