Mortals meet Percabeth

Today was finally day when my daughter would be coming back home. To be honest I don't even know why she left in the first place I mean I have been such a great father to her what more could she want.

"Helen!" I shouted "Annabeth is coming back today and she said she is bringing a friend too so can you help the twins get ready." "I already know," Helen replied. How could she already know it's not like Annabeth would ever talk to Helen.

As soon as Bobby and Matthew had gotten ready the doorbell rang. I rushed to the door and swung it open ready to see my beautiful daughter and her friend. When I looked through the door I saw Annabeth standing there. "Annabeth you have grown so much! Come on in, just wondering where is all your stuff and your friend." Just as I said that stumbling behind Annabeth was a boy with sea-green eyes and a player look to him. He was carrying all of Annabeths stuff and most likely his own too. "I didn't know you were bringing a boy!" I remarked. "Yeah well this is Percy Jackson, I'm sure you guys have met before." Annabeth replied. "Oh yes I remember you, you both have grown up so much, do come on in." I replied. I was sure that Percy has now become a player and I was perfectly ready to protect Annabeth. This would surely prove how great of a father I was.

When they came in they both put their stuff down and sat in the living room on the couch together, far too close for comfort. Bobby and Matthew both then came charging in shouting "ANNABETH!" Annabeth just laughed a bit and gave both the twins a hug. The twins then looked up and saw Percy and both shouted "PERCY!" and Percy also gave them both a hug. "Percy show us Riptide!" Matthew exclaimed. "Percy make the water fly!" Bobby asked. How did Percy also know my kids? It doesn't matter though because I must save Annabeth from this player and show her how good of a father I am. "Alright, alright" Percy said as he pulled out a pen. Annabeth just rolled her eyes as he uncapped the lid and a sword was produced, the twins stared in wonder. Percy then recapped the pen and opened up a water bottle. He then closed his eyes and caused the water to circle around Bobby's head like a halo. "Wowww!" the twins said. Helen then walked into the room and when Annabeth saw her she got up and walked towards Helen. At first I thought she was going to attack Helen but instead she gave her a tight embrace. "Hey Helen," Percy said. "Hi Percy" Helen replied. How did everyone already know Percy?

"I came to say that dinner is ready and you can all come whenever you are ready." Helen stated as she began to walk out of the room.

We were all seated and began to eat and I hated how close Percy was being to my daughter. "So Annabeth have you found anyone yet?" I asked Annabeth. Annabeth tensed up a bit but said "I actually came by to talk about what has happened." Annabeth then went on to explain how she has fought in two wars and how she saved the world many times with Percy. Bobby and Matthew looked like they were bursting to say something until Bobby burst. "Percy and Annabeth are also dating!" Matthew then continued "they're so cute together!"

"Uhhh actually we aren't dating." Percy replied. "We're engaged that's what we came to talk about." Annabeth finished.

"WHAT!!" I roared. "THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE HOW COULD YOU BE DATING THIS PLAYER IF ANYTHING HOW CAN YOU BE ENGAGED! WHY DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT THIS" "First of all Percy is NOT a player he is the sweetest thing. Second of all you were never their for me why would I tell you, and finally I came to give you all wedding invitations but clearly I don't need to." Annabeth replied deathly calmly.

Annabeth then stood up with Percy behind her, she gave Helen and the twins a hug and said "Helen it would be lovely for you and the twins to come to the wedding so please do so." Finally she turned to me and said "Goodbye Fredrick." She then left the house. Percy then looked at me and said "You had one chance to bring your only daughter back into your life and you lost it." He then looked towards Helen and the twins and said "I will see you at the wedding and do come visit some time." He then gave them a wave and chased after Annabeth.

I can't believe my daughter is dumb enough to marry a player but oh well. Her choice, her loss.
