Chapter Thirty Six - With Friends Like These

In Ironwood's office, Juhani and the rest of Ruby's group found themselves locked in with Ironwood and the Ace-Ops.

Weiss: Please, think about what you're doing.

Harriet: You heard the general. Until this is sorted out, you're under arrest.

Yang: Really?

Vine: Please. Don't make this difficult.

Blake: Don't make us have to get out of here by force.

It was at this point that an all out fight was about to break out.

Marrow: Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're not actually going to slug this out, are we?

Harriet: We're not doing anything. They decide what happens next.

As the Ace-Ops moved to take them into custody, Juhani steps forward.

Juhani: Stop this madness, General! This is exactly what Salem wants!

Ironwood: You all have left me with no choice. Surrender or we will use force.

As Ironwood says this, Juhani grabs her Lightsaber and activates it's blue blade. It wasn't long before Team RWBY did the same.

Harriet: You think you're going to stop us. We're the best Huntsmen in Atlas.

Ruby: You were. Then you trained us.

Ruby uses her Semblance to rush past the Ace-Ops, smashing straight through the door, and Harriet angrily chases after her with her own Semblance. The remaining members of RWBY and Ace-Ops charge forward and attack. Left with no other option, Juhani jumped to action just as Ironwood began firing his pistol at the Cathar Jedi. Juhani was able to block the bullets. Juhani was then able to slice Ironwood's pistol. Juhani then lands a powerful Force Push on Ironwood which knocked him back into his desk. Juhani then turns to Team RWBY who were battling against the Ace-Ops. As Juhani moved to assist Ruby, Elm moved in and attacked Juhani with Timber's hammer mode.

Juhani: I do not wish to fight you.

Elm: You gave us no choice.

Juhani: Then I must do what is right.

As Elm moved to attack, Juhani used the Force to break down parts of the ceiling and hurls them at the Ace-Ops. Seizing the opportunity, Juhani and the members of Team RWBY exit the office. Juhani then uses the Force to cave the entrance in.

Juhani: That should buy us some time.

Ruby: We have to get to the Relic and the Winter Maiden!

Juhani: Then we must move quickly.

With that, Juhani and Team RWBY began moving through the halls of the Atlas Academy. Soon enough, the alarm begins blaring throughout the Academy.

Yang: That's not good....

Juhani: You all go on ahead. I will draw their attention.

Blake: We're not letting you take on Ironwood's men by yourself!

Juhani: Do not worry for me, sister. I will not be long. The Force is with me.

Blake didn't want to leave her adopted sister, but time was short. Team RWBY went along without Juhani. As for Juhani, she began walking the halls of the Atlas Academy. She encountered several Atlesian Droids. As they attempt to attack Juhani, Juhani cuts them down with her Lightsaber. As she draws the attention of the Atlas forces, she was confronted by the Ace-Ops.

Harriet: Where are the other traitors?

Juhani: Doing what needs to be done. Think about what you are doing.

Elm: You gave us no choice.

Vine: This doesn't have to end in violence. Stand down and surrender.

Juhani: I cannot do that. I must do what feel is right.

Marrow: Think about what you're doing.

Juhani: I have. My mind is clear on this matter. It is you who needs to think of your actions.

Harriet: Enough of this crap! Take her down!

As Harriet charged at Juhani, the Cathar Jedi used the Force to push her away. Elm then fires a rocket with the rocket launcher attachment of her Timber weapon. As the rocket shots towards Juhani, she reached out with the Force and grips the rocket. She then hurls it at the Ace-Ops who get out of the way. As Marrow gets up, he attempts to use his Semblance to freeze Juhani, but Juhani lunges at Marrow and slashes at Marrow's legs, bringing him down. She then uses the Force to grip Vine and throws him back against the wall. As Harriet and Elm attempt to gang up on Juhani, Juhani was able to parry both their attacks and unleashes a Force Repulse on them, knocking them back. At this point, Juhani retreats, using the Force to augment her speed. After that, Juhani begins making his way to the hanger. Eventually, he regrouped with Team RWBY along with Penny who now had the powers of the Winter Maiden. Suddenly, Juhani was attacked by Harriet.

Harriet: You're not going anywhere!

Juhani was able to react quickly and dodged Harriet's attacks. During the scuffle, Harriet manages to knock the Lightsaber out of Juhani's hands. Harriet then attacks Juhani with a series of fast paced attacks. Initially, Harriet gained the upper hand. But the Force allowed Juhani to stand her ground. Calling upon the Force, Juhani summons her Lightsaber back to her hands. In one swift strike, Juhani jabs as Harriet's left arm and right leg with her Lightsaber. Harriet shouts in pain as she collapses to the ground. As this happened the airship takes off with Blake standing on the boarding ramp.

Blake: COME ON!

Seizing the opportunity, Juhani uses the Force to jump on the boarding ramp with Blake grabbing Juhani's hand and pulls her. As Juhani gets inside, the airship crashes through the hanger doors. But as they escaped, a looming threat would soon reveal itself as Salem arrives in Atlas on top of a Whale-like Grimm called a Monstra, accompanied by a massive army of flying Grimm. In that moment, Salem had arrived in Atlas.
