Prologue

I've never seen a room as lively as Sun's. All the hospital rooms I've visited looked the same - messy, dark, and dead.

One of those rooms include mine.

"Guess my favorite color!" Sunoo asked as he roamed around his room, a mischievous look was plastered on his face.

"That's like asking a deaf person to guess your favorite song." I rolled my eyes at his attempt to tease me. I walked around to see the things that could give me a hint about his favorite color.

Flowers, plushies, clothes, drawings, and furniture displays - they were all useless.

All I could see were black and white.

"Need a clue?" Sunoo offered upon seeing my troubled state. I nodded at him and continued to look around.

"Think of my favorite things. It's not a rare color." I sat down after he said that and began to think.

The sky. Sun always talks about the sky. He always mentioned how looking at the sky makes him feel calm and free.

"Blue." I confidently remarked and he giggled. "That's my second favorite color."

I sighed in frustration. What are other things that he likes?

Peaches! Sun said that people would always associate him with peaches by how rosy his cheeks looked. Roses. He said that he likes the smell of roses and likes pink ones more than red ones.

"Pink! I'm sure of this one." I guess I was too sure. He smiled at me and said, "That's my third favorite color. Keep guessing."

"One more clue, please!" I begged. Sun heaved a sigh and said, "My name."

It's like a huge light bulb appeared on the top of my head when I finally figured it out.

"Yellow." I said proudly and he smiled,

"You finally got it right."
