PAST MEMORIES,THE NOVEL,AND MY DEATH(PART 4)
Because no matter how many times she have read it,she always felt that there's something missing in the story.
Karlina felt a little bit of headache but it immediately went away so she ignored it and reach out for the telecom and press the button.
"Hello! This is Hannah!what can I do for you Ms.Montecarlos?"
" Hannah,can you please bring me two Japanese style bento for lunch at the canteen?"
"As you wish!,uhmm….how about the drinks Miss?"
"Just bring me a 1 litter of apple juice."
"Okay Miss! I'll bring it right away!"
Karlina turn off the button and walk back where Ian was sleeping like a baby on the couch and tried to wake him up.
She tried to shake him but got no response from him so she tried once again but still got no response and loss her patience and grab his left arm and flip him over causing a very loud noise inside her office.
*BAGG!*
"OUCH!"
Ian whine while he stand up half asleep and rub his back.
*few moments later….*
"yawwn!-Ouchiee,my back!"
Ian tried to stretch his body while yawning when a sudden pain in his back attack.
"Are you awake now?'
Karlina ask trying to stop herself from smilling.
"ye-ah?i guess? OUCH MY BACK!,huhuhu! Why does my back hurt so much as if I was actuallu flipped over?"
Ian said almost crying while observing Karlina's stern face and saw a little smile.
"What are you talking about?you fell down while sleeping?what are you trying to say?"
Karlina shamelessly said with a straight face.
"Liar!she totally flipped me over to wake me up*cries inside*"
Ian thought trying to massage his back to reduce the pain.
After a minute they heard a soft knock on the door.
*knock,knock,knock*
And a voice behind the door was heard.
"Miss Karlina,it's Hannah."
"Come in." Karlina said.
"Pardon my intrusion." Hannah said and gently open the door and saw Karlina sitting on the couch holding some paperworks and Ian who looks confuse,infront of her.
Hannah walked quietly holding two plastic bags and place it on the table,and she felt that her body was shaking a bit.
"Here's your order Miss,I hope you guys will enjoy your meal."
And she bowed and when she's about to leave when she heard a voice.
"Thank You."
Karlina said while still looking at the paperworks she's been holding,while Ian looks way more confuse from what's happening.
Hannah blushed from what she heard and immediately bowed many times,and went out with her face looking like a tomato and closed the door.
"w-what the heck,was that?"
Ian look at her in curious but also exited at the same time.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Karlina put down the papers in her hands and open the plastic bag ang grab one of the bento box and placed it infront of Ian while the other one is for herself.
"wow! Is this for me?!" Ian asked while his eyes are shining.
"Just Shut up and eat."
Karlina said and open the bento box and started to eat.
Ian also said thank you to Karlina before he opens his bento box and also started eating.
After they are done eating, Karlina's phone rang and saw a familiar caller i.d and immediately answer it.
"Hello Karlina! Are you done eating your lunch?!"
Karlina heard a cheerful voice from the same man who called her early in the morning.
"Yes Sir. We are just about to clean up."
Karlina answered and look at Ian.
"Is that dad?" Ian asked while drinking an apple juice from his glass and Karlina just nodded from his question and put the phone on loud speaker.
"Awww, I wanna eat with you and with your aunt,but it's not good to skip meals. Anyway was that my son?"
"Hi dad!" Ian said cheerfully.
" Hey youngman,you have eaten your lunch right?Your mom said that she'll come here later with her new recipe for the restaurant,I guess we will have to see each others later after an hour to talk about it.
And DON'T BOTHER KARLINA TOO MUCH OKAY?"
"yes dad,and I didn't bother Karlina that much!Isn't that right?" Ian looked at Karlina but she didn't answer.
"Haahhh…I have to hung up now,since I still have a meeting"
Before the two of them could answer Ian's dad hung up the phone.
"so what should we do for the next hour?"
Ian asked and lean on the couch.
"Go back in your office and do your work."
Ian just pouted and he was about to leave when
Karlina suddenly talk.
"Please Clean up the mess before you leave."
She said and stand up and go to her table and grab some of her paper that she needs to work on while Ian just quietly clean and leave the room.
