Hameed's visit to Jalore

Hameed travelled a long way on his horse and stopped on seeing a pond nearby. He got down to drink some water and sat down on the banks of the pond , thinking deeply where to go and how he would survive and  if he had done something wrong by leaving kingdom and most importantly his dear sister Firoza .

He felt that he shouldn't have left the kingdom anxiously and was worried of how Firoza was coping up without him.

Bhaiyya...bhaiyya...Firoza's voice kept echoing in his ears , he could hear Firoza calling out for him , as he was going away.

He then took out the letter Firoza had put in his angavastra and read it

Pyare bhaiyya ,
I felt really very sorry for you and i am as sad as you are for we both are incomplete without each other and what hurts you , hurts me also bhaiyya. I know you must be thinking of why did abbu do this injustice to you as i am also thinking the same. But trust me bhaiyya i will definitely convince abbu to give you equal share in the kingdom .
  It's a promise made by a sister to her dearest brother.

The last line just filled his eyes with tears and it soon rolled down his cheeks. Somewhere deep inside his heart , he felt that he should go back to his kingdom. As soon as this thought came to his mind , he shook it away by thinking that he would only return to his kingdom if his father agreed to give him equal share of the kingdom and also he felt that the people of the kingdom would say that he once left the kingdom because he wasn't given equal rights and now because he has no roof on his head , he had no choice but to return to his father's kingdom. Also with a heavy heart he decided that he wouldn't reply to her letter since that would only make her even sadder to know that he wouldn't return to the kingdom anytime soon.

In the river of thoughts flowing through his mind , he suddenly remembered the words spoken by his jasoos , few days back.

                         *Flashback*

Few days back , when Hameed was busy sharpening his sword , one of his jasoos had come to him and had told him that king Farhan of Jalore , who was a far relative of his father , Mirza , was holding a grudge on Raja Jaydev as he had killed his elder brother in one of  the war's and was looking for some powerful support as he had waged war many times on Suvarnagiri but every time he was defeated.But since king Farhan doesn't hold good relations with Our king Mirza itseems that he is reluctant to ask him for help.
  
  This thought gave new hope to Hameed and he thought that he could approach King Farhan and offer to help him , and in return would demand for a place where he could rule. And as soon as he would get a place to rule , he would bring his dear sister too to stay with him.

Thinking thus , he reached Jalore and wished to see king Farhan . King Farhan was discussing something with his minister when suddenly a servant entered and disturbed their conversation. The king was slightly irritated on someone disturbing his serious talk and asked him the reason for this disturbance and the servant replied him after greeting that a person who has addressed himself as Hameed , the prince of Surkanda wished to meet him as he wanted to help him in defeating Raja Jaydev.

     Hearing this king Farhan became very happy and asked him to send Hameed in. Then , Hameed went inside and firstly greeted the king and the king requested Hameed to be seated and then explain the cause of his arrival. Hameed firstly made himself comfortable and then narrated the events to king Farhan that made Hameed to leave Surkanda.

He told the king that he had heard that he wanted to capture Suvarnagiri , so he had come there to offer him help , whatever was possible so that the king could capture the kingdom. After hearing this , the king asked him what he wanted in return of the help he was offering and Hameed replied that he wanted any place where he would be the king and then King Farhan promised him that if he won Suvarnagiri , then they would share the kingdom equally.

  On hearing this Hameed was filled with joy and they both started making all necessary arrangements for war , like horses , elephants , soldiers and also discussed various tactics to defeat Jaydev.
