Few more days passed by , and Abdullah too was a bit sad for Hameed , but on the other side , he liked the thought that he didn't had to share his kingdom.
On the other hand, King Mirza was feeling guilty that Hameed had left the kingdom due to the injustice done to him and he remembered how his one promise led to his son leaving the kingdom. The promise which he should have never made.
**Flashback**It was the first night after the wedding of king Mirza and Queen Fathima and he thought a lot about what should he gift her but then when he couldn't find any valuable thing to gift her , he finally gave up and came up with a plan to give her a promise as her gift.
" Today is our first night together dear and I thought a lot but couldn't understand what I should gift you and thus instead of a gift , today I am giving you a promise....a promise that I shall keep....I promise by taking allah's name that no matter how many women I shall marry more , you will always be the first wife and thus you will be given your superiority and also
I shall only make our son the descendant of the throne. " he saw her smile brightly as he completed his sentence. The promise he made 17 years ago was the worst decison of his life due to which he had to see his own son leaving the kingdom. He was cursing himself.
Just then a messanger came by and the news he gave made the King to come out of his thoughts of past but soon dived back deep into his thoughts but this time for a different subject. And the matter was that , as days passed and there left just 2 Major kingdoms in Hindustan. One was his kingdom , spread to vast areas , and other was Suvarnagiri , the kingdom of Raja Jaydev. Raja Jaydev didn't agree to King Mirza's proposal and was ready for war , King Mirza didn't fear war , but he was just thinking of a perfect strategy to defeat Jaydev. King Mirza , felt that war was a necessity because his only aim was to rule on entire Hindustan. This was the first time King Mirza was thinking so much about a war and it was because he knew very well that Raja Jaydev was also as powerful as him , if not more. With a lot of planning , king Mirza prepared horses , elephants , weapons , and finally ordered the soldiers to move to the battlefield of Karnal.

Soon , Raja Jaydev got the news that Mirza was heading towards Karnal for the battle and thus was lost in deep planning for the war.
Maldev , who had never seen his father in such serious state before , asked him the reason for his concern. And Raja Jaydev told him that he had got a news from his guptchar that king Mirza was heading towards Karnal for a war against him. Maldev assured him that they would certainly be victorious and took permission from him to prepare for the war.
Raja Jaydev was also not a person who would enter the battlefield without a perfect plan.
So finally after a lot of preparation and planning , the 2 mighty kings entered the battlefield accompanied by their sons and their entire army.Day 1 -
Raja Jaydev waited for King Mirza to attack first , soon King Mirza ordered his army to attack by shouting "Yalgaar ho!" and Raja Jaydev blew his conch and shouted " Har har Mahadev" the war began.
The horrendous war began with King Mirza's army rushing with their raised flags against Raja Jaydev's , but Jaydev's army stood against them with cheering hearts. Abdullah fought Maldev attempting to strike him with many arrows but Maldev cut down the arrows and the bow of Abdullah. The battle between both the armies was fierce and terrible , but after a point of time Mirza's army appeared more powerful as they succeeded in killing many of the soldiers of Jaydev's army , soon the sun began to set , so the war was to be continued the next morning.
By the end of day 1 , Raja Jaydev's army suffered heavy losses.
