"Look (Y/n)! You and Vera are gonna be in a match today! You didn't plan anything to trying to get her that's the point and I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!"

William yelled through the hallways jokingly. Spinning my heels, my glare hardened on him as he quickly hid his hands behind his back and zip his lips shut in a straight line.

"You can do it!"

He whispered, rolling my eyes at him and walking towards the matching room, opening the wooden doors as my teammates Norton, Emma, and Vera, were sitting on the chair. "Hello (Y/n)! You seem down today" Emma pointed out as she closed her tool box while Norton was spinning his magnets on his index finger. And Vera, Vera couldn't care less since she's busy inhaling her perfume.

"William"

I mumbled and sat down besides Emma who giggled as our hunter, Mary walked in humming and coughing out her throat. "Let's start shall we?" We all were prepared as our vision blacked out with the sound of glass shattering behind us. And the next thing we know is that we're placed in different areas of the map, Leo's memory.

"And I should have used my A tier costume to make me warm..." I mumbled then ran to the closest cipher and started decoding. My fingers typing fast on each button to move on.

"Oh-you're here..."

From the tone of voice it was obvious who it was, the one and only Vera. Not looking up from the cipher as I greeted her with a simple hum. She scoffed at the lack my interaction but on the inside. My heart couldn't stop beating fast.

"Not much of a talker? Are you that embalmer's relative or something?" She mumbled, her strong and sweet scent surrounding us both as I tried not to inhale much of it.

"The hunter is near me!" Emma yelled, as Norton was trying to help her out. Silently cursing since we've only got 4 ciphers left. With the hunter gracefully hitting her down and picking her up from afar. But good thing Norton stunned her with his magnets, making them both run away.

I missed a calibration

Horror was written on our faces as it alerted the hunter,  our hearts slowly turning purple as Vera immediately grabbed my arm and we dashed inside the factory and went to the second floor.

"Good job on alerting the hunter (Y/n)! We're wasting time and almost got caught!"

She whispered angrily at me as we both crouched down with our hearts beating fast. Getting annoyed by her I decided to speak up. "Well damn I'm sorry then! Not my fault that Norton looked too good in saving Emma back there!"
