Chapter 4 - Reunited

You ran into the forest until you felt like your legs were burning. The sun was setting and you decided to sit on the grass. You were panting and you promised your self that you are never going back there again.

You rested your head at the tree behind you and closed your eyes. Suddenly, you heard running footsteps and you opened your eyes.

You saw a silhouette (It's probably 6:15 PM just incase you though it was afternoon or sumthin) running through the forest. You suddenly stood up and ran after the person. After a good maybe 2 minutes of running he (Since you noticed the person was a boy.) accidentally tripped.

You kneeled down next to the figure and pulled his hair up to see his face. Wait a minute.. you recognized this face. "(C-C/N)?!" You nearly yelled.
"(Y/N)!" (C/N) suddenly hugged you and your cheeks started heating up.

"H-how did you get here?" You asked (C/N) who was panting heavily from the running. "I-I escaped an insane asylum a-and started running when the police f-found me." He said catching his breath.

"What brings you here?" (C/N) asked. "Oh um... M-my mom brought me to therapy then... The doctor asked who I was impressing from acting insane but I didn't mention your name because you were mentioned in the news so-"

(C/N) interrupted you. "I-I was mentioned on the news?" (C/N) asked with a confused face, you nodded your head as an answer. "A-anyway the doctor tried to encourage me to say your name but I can't so I... I-I..." You were lost for words.

"So..?" (C/N) encouraged you to continue. "I slashed her neck with a scalpel." You finished. (C/N) hugged you out of nowhere and your face started turning red. "T-thank you for not mentioning my name (Y-Y/N)..."

You smiled and returned the hug. "Plus, you were trying to impress me by being insane..?" He added. "W-WHAT?!" You yelled pulling back from the hug, your cheeks were burning. "N-no.. Yes? N-not r-really? Um..?" You stuttered trying to find an answer.

"It's alright, I actually liked it anyway. You really impressed me." He smirked as he gets up and reaches his hand out for you to get up also. "C-come on.. We have to move on, it's getting dark." You said trying to change the subject.

And with that you and (C/N) walked deeper into the wood.

You two were Reunited once again.
