Love life (Chishiya x Niragi)

Chapter 1 •Meet again•

Five months were already gone since they came back to their normal life. The time they spent in the borderland, didn't change anything in the normal life. It was like the time just stopped, and as they came back, it kept going were they stayed.

Niragi was nearly finishing the university and still living with his parents. In the other hand Chishiya was still working as a doctor and lived alone in an apartment.
Kuina was now Chishiya's neighbor. They spent much time together every day, especially at the weekend. That made him a little more social.

It was Tuesday and like the usual Chishiya needed to work. He put his doctor clothes on, and went to his job.
He needed to wait for a client, which was Yuri Azuma. A fourteen years old girl, who broke her leg two weeks ago, and needed to do a check out today, just to make sure everything is fine with her leg. The girl didn't like Chishiya much, and he knew it. But he understood why too, Chishiya was a cold, honest and serious person. He wasn't funny or always happy like the other doctors. He took his job serious and wasn't looking for any friendships or for being a therapist from a client.

He was waiting for her in the waiting room, she was already five minutes too late. He searched for her everywhere, but didn't find her.
"Chishiya..?" He heard someone saying. It was a man, he could understand that by hearing his voice. Somehow he knew that voice, but wasn't sure from where. As he turned around to see who was calling for him, he got surprised. He didn't knew if turning around was the best or the worst choice he ever made in his life.
"Niragi?" He said confused and surprised. It really was him, he still had long black hair and some piercings. The difference was that he was wearing something more formal than he did in the borderland, and had some new piercings in his ear.
Chishiya was just standing in front of him very surprised, his heart was pumping like wild.
„Hi" He said very fast not looking directly in his face.
"Hi, you don't seem very happy to see me, huh?" Said Niragi laughing and coming closer to him.
"No, sorry, that's not it. I'm just surprised, I didn't thought I would see you today, what brings you here?"
"I went home and saw my mom fainted in the floor of the kitchen, so I brought her here as fast as I could"
"What's her name?" He asked looking at the paper he had with all the names of everyone who was in this hospital right now.
"Mitsuki Niragi" He said reading the paper with Chishiya.
"She's in the room 24. I could check out if she's fine, if you want"
"Yes, please! It would be amazing"
"Sure" He said leaving Niragi. His heart was pumping very fast, somehow he got nervous by talking to him. Chishiya never got nervous because of talking to someone. Not even when he dated Niragi in the borderland, somehow looking directly to his eyes made his heart melt. His dark small eyes, but very shiny too. He could stay hours just looking at them, but it wasn't time to think about his eyes now, he needed to focus himself in work and not in his ex.

After he checked out how Niragi's mother was, he came back to give him the news.
As he came back, he saw Niragi talking to another doctor.
"Chishiya! Hey!" Said Niragi very loud smiling at him, everyone stared them, but it didn't really bother Chishiya.
"You're mother is still resting" He said coming closer to Niragi and the doctor. "I don't know what she has, but as much as I know it won't bring her any very bad problems"
"Well, I need to disagree with that, Chishiya" Said the doctor looking at him. "I'm responsible for his mother and I'm very sorry for telling you this, but she has a kind of virus in her brain. We need to do a operation in less than one hour, otherwise it'll get worse"
"Sure" Said Niragi worried. „How expensive is the operation?"
"10'000 €"
"10'00 €!!??" Said Niragi yelling at the doctor, being everyone's attention center in that room.
"I can't pay that! I need more time!" He said worried.
"Than I guess we won't make the operation now, I'm sorry mr. Niragi"
"Excuse me?" Said Chishiya interrupting their conversation. He stared at the doctor with death eyes. The look im his face was like his heart, like a stone, heartless, without any feeling but madness and confidence.
"We're doing the operation"
"What? No I can't! I need to get paid first" Said the doctor nervous.
"Than I do the operation. You do my job and I do yours"
"Chishiya, I know you're worried about him, but you can't just-"
"We're doctors! Our job is to save anyone's life, no matter what!" He said interrupting the doctor again. "If you think I'm going to lose someone because of f*cking money, keep dreaming. If you want to put the money in first place and the life of someone who could be saved in the second place, than I don't know what you're still doing in this god damn job" He said heartless and cold. "I'll do the operation, and you take care of my patient. Make sure that you can at least take care of a god damn kid"
The doctor said yes by shaking his head and left. Niragi smiled. He was so happy, seeing Chishiya defending him, it felt so good.
"Thanks a lot" He said kinda shy.
"I'm only doing my job. Wait here till I'm done"

Niragi was waiting in the waiting room for four hours, till he finally saw Chishiya coming.
Chishiya took his gloves still with blood from the operation off and came closer to Niragi
„So? How is she? How was it? Is she okay?" He said literally panicking.
„She's fine. We made the operation two hours ago, she rested for one hour and is ready to go home now. She's now talking to a doctor who's giving her some medicaments and stuff like that"
„Omg, Thank you so much!" Said Niragi hugging him. Chishiya was surprised, he didn't thought Niragi would hug him after what happened in the borderland.
Chishiya just stayed there with his arms laying down. It was kinda rude not hugging him back, but it was Chishiya, the coldest person Niragi ever met.
„I think I need to go back to work. It was nice to see you, bye" Said Chishiya stopping the hug and leaving Niragi.
„Sure, it was awesome to see you too! Bye!" Said Niragi smiling a lot. He was so happy to finally see him after so long.

It was 23:00 and Chishiya could finally go home. He went to a room and changed his clothes. He put a basic white shirt on, black trainer pants, and a black jacket. Something really basic and comfy.
He left the hospital and found Niragi in front of the door laying himself on a wall.
„Here you are" He said coming closer.
It was already very late and dark outside, the only think full with light was the hospital.
„What are you still doing here?" He asked coming closer.
„Well, I actually wanted to talk with you after you finished your work, but when I asked a girl when you were finished, I got surprised as she said you're only finished at 23:00. So I waited here for you" He said coming closer. „And I realized too that knowing you live far from here, you'll arrive home at 03:00 am" He Niragi looking at him. Chishiya didn't get his point, and just kept walking.
„It's a little weird that you know so much about me and my job already, and kinda like a stalker, but okay. Anyways, yes I'll only arrive home at 03:00 am, and what? Go to the point"
„Do you wanna eat dinner by us?"
Chishiya stopped and turned around looking at Niragi. Niragi was with his hands in his pocket, his hair was very like always and a cute smile in his face.
„What?"
„Our house is ten minutes away from here, it would be faster, you know. Besides, my mom saw us talking and she wants to meet you" Said Niragi coming closer.
„I don't know, I really don't want to bother you and-„
„Please" Said Niragi interrupting him by holding his hand. Chishiya got nervous, again. His body felt warmer and as he looked directly in Niragi's eyes, he felt butterflies in his belly. He missed that feeling, the feeling of liking someone, but they broke up, and he knew it. He broke up with him, there was nothing more between them.
„Fine. What's for dinner?" He said going with him to his car.
„I'll be cooking. What do you like?"
„You can cook? Wow, I really am learning a lot about you" He said laughing and going in the car.
