Love life (Chishiya x Niragi)

Chapter 2 •In another life... what does it mean..?•

After ten minutes, they arrived in Niragi's house. Chishiya stayed in the car for some seconds, thinking if he really should go in and eat by them, or leave. He wanted to go, somehow it didn't felt right to be there. They didn't even spoke about what happened in the borderland. But as he saw Niragi smiling at him, waiting for him to come in, he couldn't say no. He seemed to be so happy, so innocent. If Niragi hadn't told him about his past self, he would never imagine that someone so rude and crazy like Niragi, in the borderland, would be someone so kind and sweet in real life.

Both came in and a older woman with short black hair and a blue dress, which was Niragi's mother, came closer to them.
„Hi, you must be the doctor who operated me, Chishiya, am I right?" She said very friendly shaking his hand.
„Yes I am. I'm Shuntarō Chishiya, Niragi's friend"
„Thank you so much for operating me, I promise I'll pay back! Really, thank you very much. I don't know what else I would have done without your help. Niragi must be very lucky having a friend like you"
Niragi looked at Chishiya and smiled.
„Yes I am, very lucky" Chishiya got red and tried to change the subject.
„Thank you for letting me eat here, it's very kind from you. Niragi, may I talk to you alone for a second?"
„Sure" He said bringing Chishiya to his room, which was in the second floor.

Niragi's room was actually pretty basic, he had a bad with a black blanket, a desk made of wood, and a pretty dark blue carpet in the floor, matching with his black wall.
„Come in" He said sitting in his bed next to Chishiya.
„Let me guess, it's about what happened in the borderland, right?"
Chishiya looked at the floor and sighted.
„Yes" He said standing up.
„I'm going direct to the point. What's your problem? We fought and broke up, didn't saw us since eight months and now you're acting like everything is fine between us, why? Why aren't you angry? Why are you being so nice to me? Are you planning on a kind of revenge or something?!"
„Wow, wow, calm down" Said Niragi standing up. „I'm not angry, because I understand your point. I'm not planning on a revenge or something either, chill out. And I know we're not dating anymore, but can we at least still be friends? You're someone important to me, Chishiya. I already lost you as my boyfriend, I don't wanna lose you as my friend either"
Chishiya set down again and looked directly into Niragi's eyes.
„Fine. We can still be friends, if you want too" He said giving him a side smile. „But now tell me, what's for dinner? I'm hungry"
Niragi laughed and opened the door so they could go to the kitchen.
„I hope you like Katsudon"
„Katsudon?" Said Chishiya sitting in the table.
„It better be good, I'm very critical" He said laughing and waiting for the food.

After they ate Chishiya and Niragi went to the garden and laid there talking to each other. The sky was dark and the stars were clear to see.
„I see a horse" Said Niragi looking at the stars.
„No you don't"
„Yes I do! Look, right there" He said pointing at some stars.
„That's obviously a pig, even I can see that"
„A pig? Are you blind??"
„Says the one who is supposed to wear glasses, but for some reason doesn't do it. You may need them now" He said smiling at him. Both ended up laughing, but very fast changed to a huge silence.
„In another life" Said Niragi staring a the shinny stars.
Chishiya turned his head to him so he could see him. Niragi's eyes were very dark, nearly black, that made them shine very bright, while he was looking at the stars.
Chishiya stayed quiet without responding him, he was only staring at him.
„In another life, you said that when we were in the borderland before you left"
„I say a lot of things"
„But there needs to be a meaning!" Said Niragi sitting up.
„That sentence kept coming in my head since you left. I can't stop thinking about it, trying to figure out what you exactly mean. In another life, did you meant this one? Our normal life?"
„Niragi, don't make a Drama out of it, okay?" Said Chishiya still laying down in the floor.
„I'm not doing a drama! I'm trying to figure something out. You said we would work in another life, which is probably this life, right? So basically you tried to say, that-„ Niragi was interrupted by Chishiya, who set up and started talking.
„I meant that we wouldn't work at all. Got it?"
Niragi stared at him in silence. He had a sad impression in his face. His eyes suddenly seemed to be bigger by doing that face.
„Don't look at me like that, you know it's true"
„No it isn't. If it worked once, we could try it again and maybe-„
„There's no maybe Niragi!" Said Chishiya standing up. „Do you remember how many times we fought? How many times we nearly broke up? We only hurt each other without even realizing, we didn't work once, why would we work this time? Give me a good reason!"
„Because now we're in another life! Just like you said! I know you meant it! And I know if we try again it could work out"
"It was a mistake coming here, I knew it.." Said Chishiya going away.
"Where are you going?!"
"Home" He said very fast and with no emotions.
"You don't have your car here"
"I'm going with the bus"
„What? Chishiya, wait!" Said Niragi running after him, but too late, he already went inside the bus.
Niragi  just watched the bus pass and stayed there.
„Sh!t..." he said whispering to himself.
„SH*T! SH*T SH*T SH*T!!!" He screamed now hitting a tree who was next to the bus station.

Chishiya arrived home after two hours and entered in his apartment.
He took a fast shower and went to the toilet
to brash his teeth's.
In the toilet was a picture of Niragi. The one he stole from him in the borderland. Niragi had short hair and glasses in that picture.
„In another life, huh? He really remembers that... idiot.." He said smiling at the picture. His chest hurt. He knew why, and he knew he was in love with him. But he wasn't ready for a relationship again, not now.

Niragi went back home and laid himself in his bed. He was lost in his thoughts and ended up falling asleep.

So, this is the new chapter. The next one will probably come out tomorrow or at max. Friday
